Tbh I kinda agree with that definition. It’s what I work out to on the political compass, apparently. Although I would disagree because I do not believe anarchism is the way forward. It’s an ideal both unreachable and undesirable.
The “Far Left” seems to vary with the Overton Window of the individual. For some, even mainstream Democrats are considered Far Left. For others outright Tankies. For others still generic Centre Left politicians like Bernie, Jeremy and AOC.
On the other side, Far Right seems to be pretty well-defined by the Left: Fascist and Fascist-adjacent folk. Extreme racists, extreme nationalists, extreme homo and transphobes. Extreme anti-Muslim folk. The unifying point being “extreme”.
This is one of many ways the Right oversimplifies and pablumises politics. By pointing to anyone even slightly to the Left of basic and demonstrably Right wing views they depict all as traitors, enemies of the state, unpatriotic, etc, etc, etc.
We all know the rule book. But how to change it?
