Bazzing!! Straight up question that should have a logical answer. LIke why raise drug prices after Biden took them down? I will tell you why. Because trump did that out of spite for no reason. Usually sore losing children stomp their feet and do stuff like that. If that can not be seen I usually think something is wrong with the looker.
I will be waiting for a more logical answer from some of our intelligent posters. I am willing to bet my explanation is correct. But I will listen to a more logical and intelligent reason for tarrifs and how that helps the US in the long run. But I won't hold my breath.
Logically any move can be analyzed and discussed. But deflection has become a tool of the people that really have no thoughts.

It would be interesting if Canada whacked massive export duties on energy exports to the US (including crude oil and electricity). I doubt they'll do it, but the dose of realpolitik may be instructive to Trump's myopic grasp of value.
