US Politics The 2021 Former President Trump Thread - I look very much forward to showing my financials, because they are huge.

Look, Jess. He either asked them to fabricate votes or he didn't. You said you're not suggesting that he did request it. If he didn't request it, then he's not asking for selective votes. He cannot control the votes that are "found" or "uncovered" or whatever horrible scary word you want to take out of context to mean something that it doesn't.

What you're saying doesn't make sense.

1) I don't care about justifying anything.
2) I'm not saying what he did wasn't wrong.
3) He didn't request selectivity. Throughout all the entire election fraud bullshit, he has requested recounts and investigations. He cannot control whether or not these recounts or investigations turn up votes for him or for Biden.

I don't recall him asking for recounts anywhere except in the states that he lost by a relatively small margin. In other words the only fraud he cared about was fraud that would cause him to win. If there was fraud in his favor he doesn't give a shit.

He asked for state legislatures to appoint their own electors, what did that have to do with finding fraud?

So no that's all bullshit. Trump was trying to win no matter what underhanded or illegal or corrupt or treasonous method it took.

And yes by playing it down you are defending it.

That's perhaps the most ridiculous thing you've ever said to me in all of our political discussions.

Who has ever requested a recount in states they won?
Did Hilary do that? Did Al Gore?

JessFR said:

That's a different issue. I haven't stated my opinion on it.

JessFR said:
Trump was trying to win no matter what underhanded or illegal or corrupt or treasonous method it took.

I agree.

JessFR said:

No, I'm not.

What you're saying doesn't make sense.

Roflmao. Oh come on.

If trump had somehow stopped the election counting early, as he also wanted done, it would have resulted in him winning even though none of those votes were fraudulent.

If you look for only long enough to find enough votes to win, and then stop looking so you don't risk finding even more votes that perhaps put you behind again, that's fraud.

Trump doesn't have to have asked them to manufacture new votes to have broken the law here and it's insulting that you'd suggest otherwise.

No, it isn't.

Al Gore requested a recount in the state of Florida. According to your logic - since he didn't request a recount in every other state - he's guilty of electoral fraud?

I take it you're not a lawyer.

JessFR said:

Sure, if he had personally stopped the vote count that would be fraud... but that has no bearing on what we're talking about here. I'm not defending the man. The way he handled the 2020 election was atrocious. I've never said otherwise.

No, it isn't.

Al Gore requested a recount in the state of Florida. According to your logic - since he didn't request a recount in every other state - he's guilty of electoral fraud?

I take it you're not a lawyer.

What and you are?

Requesting a recount is fine and I haven't ever complained about trumps requests for recounts.

But there had already been a recount when trump called the Georgia election officials. He wasn't asking for a recount. He asked for exactly the number of votes he needs to be found, one way or another, and made implicit threats that it be done.

This is how the Trump cult cheats again and again. Implausible deniability. They let trump create situations where his corruption is allowed to perpetuate, and then claim that because trump didn't literally say it, and instead only did absolutely everything humanly possible short of saying it, that there was nothing wrong.

Basically by Trumpian logic I could say how great it would be if you died, over and over again. Formed clubs, where we talk about how great it would be if someone killed you. Bought money for them to obtain weapons.. To practice make believe killing you.

And then, when one of those people kill you. I get off scot free, cause I never told them to kill you did I? I may have talked about how necessary your death was over and over and brought those people together and trained them and financed them.

But I never actually told them to kill you right? It'd be laughable if it weren't so serious.

Likewise trump may have brought those people to the capital and spent months and months telling them that right there people were gonna steal their country. Told them Mike pence was a traitor and that if they had to "do something".

But he didn't say "what".he didn't specifically say to assault the capital, it was just obvious. He didn't say he wanted them to fake votes, he just wanted them "found" somehow. And so it's all fine.

Context doesn't matter in trump land. You can get away with murder provided you have the rock bottom amount of deniability.

I'm not defending him.

I get that you think I am, but I'm not.

Trump has been playing the system long enough to know how to skate around saying the wrong thing. I agree he made thinly veiled threats and - as I've already said - that's not cool. I agree that if he could add votes to his count he would. It's not beyond him, at all. I've said that at least twice now.

He didn't request fabricated votes. He also didn't request Biden's votes be thrown out. He asked to find legitimate votes that were missing from the election. That is not illegal.

If you'd like to quote the part of the conversation in which he said, "I want you to find x amount of lost legitimate votes and throw out the Biden votes so I can win", please do. Otherwise you're just stomping your feet and repeating yourself and (frankly) I have better things to do.

JessFR said:
because trump didn't literally say it, and instead only did absolutely everything humanly possible short of saying it, that there was nothing wrong.

Say WHAT exactly?
I legit don't know wtf you're talking about.

Anything. He didn't say he wanted them to make up votes. He just wanted them found.

He didn't say to assault the capital.. Just that if "someone" didn't do "something" their country would be stolen.

It's basically how mob bosses have always done it. You don't actually say what you want, you just make the implication clear and walk away.

Okay.

He said he wanted legitimate votes found.

That's not a crime.

He said if somebody doesn't do something, their country will be stolen.

That's not a crime.

So - we agree, I think - he didn't do anything illegal.

Have a nice day, Jess. I'm done with this one. You're going to have to find another scratching post.

He absolutely did do something illegal because the law actually does account for these tricks. This mob boss method of just saying what you want to see happen but not actually telling anyone to do it is well known.

Telling election officials to find the votes you need to win is illegal.

Ffs, he said he wanted one more vote than he needed to win to be found. He didn't ask for them to find and count every legal ballot so the election was fair and representative, he said he just needed enough to win.

Saying that to an election official and implying that their failure to act is a "big risk" to them is illegal.

He doesn't have to ask them to create fake ballots. It doesn't even matter if trump had no specific way he wanted them to do it. Asking them to find just the votes he needs to win is election fraud.

That anyone can't see that is mindboggling and infuriating.

Whether or not you let people's opinions on online forums infuriate you is a decision you need to make. At the end of the day, there are billions of people on the planet that disagree with you. Ideally, I think you should try and find some kind of inner peace so that it doesn't upset you so much. I used to let other people's opinions grind my gears because I wanted an outlet to vent frustrations about stuff unrelated to the topic at hand. I wanted to feel self-righteous. I wanted to distract myself from other things in my life. I wanted to feel less guilty for things I'd done (and things I'd neglected to do) by focusing on the guilty actions of others. This - in my opinion - is what you're doing. There is no place for discussion here. You keep telling me my opinions are insulting and infuriating and implying how stupid I am for not agreeing with you. I've had enough of it.

Trump is gone.
Get over it.

Trump is gone.
I wouldn't be so sure of that.

I'm just going through this entire thread again to catch up. And it's starting to strike me that the Democrats are the ones that, as if by magic and all of a sudden, no longer seem to care about actuality but now would rather rant and rave emotively. Oh how far we've come! 🤣

Until I've caught up I'll say this though:

I correct myself on a statement made pre-election time i.e. I stated that if the Democrats win there will never be another Republican POTUS. Well if things keep going the way they are then I reckon there may very well be comes 2024.

Executive Orders aside (reversing anything and everything, whether good or bad, that Trump did, just because Trump did it, no matter the cost to the American people from all walks of life): this second impeachment sham has done more for Donald J. Trump than he could have done for himself. It's something they should have left well alone unless they knew with a 500% certainty that they were going to get right. And why does that remind me of a certain supposed botched assassination attempt? 🤣

The tactics employed by the Democrats in this impeachment sham were nothing short of criminal as we know. And I see Pelosi is going out of her way to dodge bullets and refuses point blank to offer up any information with regards to what she knew and when she knew it with respect to what happened at the Capitol building that infamous day. If she knew what was coming and did nothing about it well I'd say that's next level evil and one could draw any number of inferences. And she's been around a very long time and is a career politician so cannot hide behind ignorance or inexperience. Unless there's a whole lot of truth to that saying that goes something along the lines that hell hath no fury than that of a woman scorned. Time will tell I'm sure as all of this unravels.

I'll leave you in peace for now.

In the meantime (and I know I'm jumping the gun here) but just found the below of interest. Apparently there'll be some unique issues that come into play in the 2024 elections (not least of which is that the 2020 census data will be used in the reapportionment of Electoral College votes) (exactly what that means or what effect it will have I do not know i.e. this my first foray into this).

He was very clearly asking for data.
They literally said - repeatedly - we need access to data to verify votes.

I honestly don't think you listened to it.

@RedRum OG

I've already explained it.
It's very clear in the conversation what they mean.
They want to find votes by various means.
They explain it in detail.

Answer my direct questions with direct answers

1) how would Trump know, better than anyone else, an exact number of how many votes were missing. Afaik, the president has no hand in counting votes.

2) If it could be done upon request, why was it not done correctly in the first place? Do you think they just kind of gave up halfway through looking because they wre lazy, and just needed a polite request to actually finish the job?

3) is there any hard evidence Trump knew info that no one else did?
3.b) If he had hard evidence, why did he never present it in a clear manner, and just Twitter posted "LIBS STOLE 10BILLION VOTES"?

4) if so, how did he procure this info, while no one actually responsible for the election did?

5) why have the vast majority of his cronies, even fox news, finally admitted he was full of shit? Did the reptilians clone them and make the clones LIBS?

6) Most importantly, why do you find this man's words trustworthy? Do you honestly think he had no motivation to lie? He has lied more than any president to ever exist. If you'd like a link of his literal thousands of public lies, I can get it for ya. He has set hundreds of precedents of lying, cheating, and stealing, very publicly, for over 3 decades. Find me (non related) people who have worked with him long term, and still trust him, and for each one, I will find 5 who have been scammed by him.
