I remember hearing claims of this, but when I tried it myself it didn't happen for me at least.
i don't think president trump is fully at fault for what happened, but he laid the table for the events by refusing to accept the election result and continually claiming, without evidence, widespread fraud in an election which his own administration described as "the most secure in american history."

He knowingly spread lies about the election and encouraged his supporters to take action.
Unless you wanna argue that he's so fucking retarded that he can't put 2 and 2 together and work out that telling people their country is being stolen and to come to where it's happening and that you had to take it back could. You know... Result in them doing just that.
Not to mention all the apparent failures to do anything about it for hours when it happened. You'd almost think he wanted it to keep going.

See... this is a lot of the kind of stuff I'm talking about. A bunch of footage of unidentifiable people conspicuously breaking out glass on a building, which looks to be a staged act for the camara, then it's tagged "Antifa mob vows revenge" or some other inflammatory tagline... Hell... Some of the video may be tagged MAGA mob for a separate video tomorrow. This garbage is all over the internet and it's only purpose is to sow division, unrest and create a narrative to that purpose.

Some of these white power, right wing fringe groups have stated that all there needs to be is an ignition event to spark a civil war and they've been trying to do just that with acts like the Oklahoma City bombing for years. They have been using the protests as opportunities to attempt to turn public opinion and to spark that event through outrage. Our enemies are using these same editing tactics to make videos to turn us against one another and to give a false appearance of America. Antifa is also making similar videos. It's the far flung fringes of the political spectrum and those who wish to see us harm. It's all nonsense and It's not reality.

With regard to the video that I posted last night.
I’m not trying to stir the pot by posting it. Wasn’t even looking for shit like that. And to be honest: I was sort of hoping and believing that this social and other media shit was over now. From the responses received: apparently not.
The above being said: although I’d not say The Sun is the most wholesome of MSM (UK) but that video is indeed posted on their official channel. Point being it wasn’t taken from some radical dimwit’s (from either side) YouTube channel.
Just checked this morning before completing this post. Not just The Sun. FOX and RT as well. Whatever the case: no denying that SOMETHING was going on in Seattle and Portland.
Oh well. Looks like situation normal then. Sad part is that it will not take too long for people to just accept this shit and become desensitised to it. Ask me how I know.

Speaking for myself: not something I WANT to see at all. Just came up last night.
In just thinking about my last post: probably becoming desensitised to this type of thing and not giving a shit is the best thing that could happen. In an ironic twist: it’s probably the reason we’ve not ended up in a civil war. There’s some food for thought.

Actually and just thinking about all of this again: this is all just toxic.
I got one more post on the topic (which I interrupted to reply to you). If nothing else: it puts things into perspective insofar as the media (pretty much all) is concerned and what has been the result of all of the their bullshit. And then I reckon it's time to butt out. But read nice what's about to follow. And make of it what you will. It resonates with me though. But then again: I'm biased toward the source will be the retort (although full disclosure and one which I've made no bones about: there is 100% truth in that).
