Election 2020 The 2020 Candidates: Right, Left and Center!

"Reminder to Bernie bros that it's the black vote that is giving Biden his wins. A 90% white America would produce an ideological socialist candidate on the left. You can get mad at me all you like, but you know it's true."

Bernie is no more socialist than any northern/western European leader. Our window has just been shifted so far we think spending our own tax dollars on ourselves and having 10 times the healthcare costs of anywhere else is normal.

When will people wake up I wonder?

It doesn't matter who wins in the USA, Trump & Sanders are two sides of the same coin folks. "The system" is corrupt & needs to be smashed into pieces.
People vote like it will make any difference when it won't, the rich will get more rich & the poor will get even more poor then die.

Why do you think Sanders is the same? He's the only guy who isn't fighting for the system, there were some other hopefuls who would have been good too but they didn't make it far. Dude has like 1.5 million dollars but he it's because he wrote a book that sold well and it happened recently. He doesn't take any money from corporate donors. He's trying to get us to use our taxes for stuff like healthcare and education instead of wealth tax cuts. yes the system is broken, but we can't really just burn it to the ground.

However I fear you're right that our vote doesn't really matter, the popular vote doesn't even win an election. I am heartened by the fact that Trump actually got elected though, when clearly the state was lining up Clinton (in 2016), so maybe I'm wrong and our vote does matter. Either way, I voted, what else can I do?

You put both of those posts in quotes....whom are you quoting?
This guy and I can't remember the other.

I'm actually looking forward to Trump v Biden debates.
If you told me 4 years ago that the next Democrat nominee would be Biden I would not have believed you (or Sanders).

If you think for one second the huge corporations & the people that sit in the backrooms at G8 & God knows what other meetings these leaders go to (anyone say Bohemian Grove?) will let him do what he says on the campaign trail you are mad.

Bill Hicks said it best with ............"I have this feeling man, 'cause you know, it's just a handful of people who run everything, you know … that's true, it's provable. It's not … I'm not a fucking conspiracy nut, it's provable. A handful, a very small elite, run and own these corporations, which include the mainstream media. I have this feeling that whoever is elected president, like Clinton was, no matter what you promise on the campaign trail – blah, blah, blah – when you win, you go into this smoke-filled room with the twelve industrialist capitalist scum-fucks who got you in there. And you're in this smoky room, and this little film screen comes down … and a big guy with a cigar goes, "Roll the film." And it's a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you've never seen before … that looks suspiciously like it's from the grassy knoll. And then the screen goes up and the lights come up, and they go to the new president, "Any questions?" "Er, just what my agenda is." "First we bomb Baghdad." "You got it …"

Oh yes we can my friend, I really think humanity has at the most 100 years before total ecological collapse at the very best. Something has to change damn fast & we the people need to make many heads roll.

Bernie's not like the others, ZB. That's why he has such a passionate following. That's why the media, DNC, and corporate establishment are conspiring against him. Again. He doesn't take money from them and he doesn't kiss their ass.

Is this really the guy we are gonna send to debate Trump?

WE WARNED YOU

"Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

Anyway ZB, do I think the corporations will just LET Bernie do what he wants if he's elected? Fuck no, they're gonna fight as hard as they can. And they might win, in fact as sad as it is, I would be surprised if they didn't win. But at least Bernie won't eagerly suck them off while they shove money in his g-string. He'll do his best to produce changes and fight hard, which is more than I can say for any other candidate, as they are all interested in keeping the status quo going regarding the ability of money to buy the government.

Why do you think Sanders is the same?

My question is why do Sanders fans ignore all this? I don't think they're fans of the truth. They just like what they hear when Sanders talks. I was the same until I realized he was full of shit after I looked into him (I supported him before Trump).

Biden will win the South. You'd think Sanders would appeal to workers but he doesn't. He appeals to people who say they are for workers but who don't actually work. Actual workers understand how bad his policies are.

Warren was not presidential. As much as I detested Killary she did seem like she wouldn't look out of place as POTUS.

The Democrats are all a bunch of clowns. Promoting communism is not a good way to get elected. Our families have all been fighting to stop it for generations and today they get thunderous applause????

Yea to be frank trump supports have no business saying anyone doesn't seem "presidential". The only thing presidential about trump is that he's an old wealthy white guy.

You can hate Obama's presidency, you can say he overused the teleprompter, you can make a good argument that how presidential someone appears isn't a reflection of the quality of their presidency. But suggesting trump acts presidential is a bad joke.

Remember the comparisons between when Obama announced the death of bin ladin vs trump and Baghdadi?

"he died like a dog!".

Not necessarily. Look at biographies from past famous (often revered) leaders. Many of them were lotharios, drug addicts, mental cases etc. Like it or not Trump is a leader. He's tough. He doesn't take shit. Elizabeth Warren looks like you're grandma. Hillary came across much tougher kinda like the principal of a school. I'm scared of Clinton but I'd never be scared of Warren. Clinton could have you killed, Warren awkwardly sips beer to try and connect with normal people.

Obama to his credit, while coming across as quite physically weak and emasculated, he still came off as presidential when he was reading off of his teleprompter. When his prompter broke down he would turn into a stuttering mess but generally he acted quite presidential (I loved Obama circa' 08 )
