i don't know, he always reminds me of a corpse. and a toddler.
which is a disturbing combination, but i think he's creepier than a dead toddler.
maybe i should start writing my bestselling book about trump's downfall (i'm sure it will practically write itself from here on in) and title it "creepier than a dead toddler"?
it makes me think of the sort of thing antony scaramucci would say, because it's crass, stupid and darkly amusing on some level.
 
at least he's been taught not to leave the key to the classified info bag sitting out on the desk where anyone can grab it.

Honestly if the key is within arms reach on the presidents desk, I think complaining about trump risking national security is a stretch.

At least he hasn't lost the nuclear launch codes for months and covered it up when asked where they were like Bill Clinton did.

My point is all things considered I don't think this one is a big deal.

It's going to be interesting to see what all the people trump has alienated, insulted (and whatever else led to his revolving door of advisors and senior govt officials quitting/getting fired/finding their positions untenable) have to say about their time on the inner circle, when all the chips are down.

Given trump's petulance and famous thin skin and sensitivity to criticism, it's going to be entertaining to see what happens.
Initially i felt bad about mocking a guy who is obviously cognitively deficient, but those days are long gone, for me.

I'm amazed there is no commentary on how muh russia investigation is going down in flames and setting everyone who pointed their fingers at Trump on fire.

Amazed not one post about the treason and collusion between the Obama admin and the FBIs intention to steal a democratically elected presidential election.

Obama's legacy is decaying and far from scandal-free, in history books he'll be lucky to have any mention other than looking like a traitorous scumbag that sacrificed America at the expense of globalization.

I find it hilarious to look back on the posts on how most of the contributors to the CE&P fell hook line and sinker for leftist propaganda that was subsidized by tax payers for a work of fiction that is he fusion gps "dossier".

GOAT president is by far the greatest president to have ever existed in my lifetime.

The left has shown their true colors and contempt and hatred towards the average hard working American citizen and our brave military by shutting down the government for the benefit of illegal aliens, all for potential future voters.

They all look like cucked self-loathing losers.

and please, knock it off with all the tribalism and division and general toxicity towards those with viewpoints and perspectives that differ from yours. most views and beliefs are more than welcome here (ones built on murdering or exiling everyone different, like naziism and white supremacy, are ofc unwelcome here), but the presentation of those views is critical. in a forum for debate, people who arent actually interested in debate and who have more interest in seeding division and hate only serve to take away from those that do want to discuss the differences in their perspectives and how they might be reconciled into something mutually agreed upon.

ofc its understood perfectly well why people with certain viewpoints wouldnt want discussion and debate. disruption can be a good tactic to prevent changes for the better or to try to obfuscate just how epicly bad a situation really is, or to, say, stop people from being able to organize to keep somebody in power that is advancing or otherwise supporting malicious ideologies the type of which arent welcome, well, anywhere.

I most certainly will not, just because somebody opposes your thought does not equate to naziism or white supremecy.

How about this, your views are in line with communism, that resulted in 3 to 5 times the deaths and misery and hell on earth than nazis could ever dream.

You support a group think and blanket censorship because your views are in line with communists, your views and beliefs are of an elite view, that views that you and only people that think like you are able to speak.

There is something unspeakably wrong with the way you categorized my and everyone else who thinks similar of free mind.

Why don't you and all your lemmings create a redlight were you all can just repeat each other ad nauseum?

Oops, why not just steal something someone else made and make it your own and banish all others that fail to fall in line.

People that think and subscribe to your opinions are a joke at best and a plagues on mankind at worst.
 
So what you're saying is that you want orthers to be open and willing to listen to your views, but you're unwilling to reciprocate and are only willing to be hostile towards people that don't share your beliefs?

Quite the opposite. If I'm still in academia a few decades from now, I'll be excited to write a book about just how corrupt and malicious this current administration is. The Obama admin did everything in its power to reverse the horrors that were the Bush years, now not only was that work tattered and thrown out the window, it makes the 'horrors' of the Bush years seem tame and benevolent. History will not remember Trump fondly in the slightest, except for maybe people, well like you, who when they're old will bemoan how they miss the champions of Christian jihads like Trump, Bush, and Reagan. Obama has already secured his place as a strong president, lying about him isn't going to change that.


Also, when you post images like that, it really grinds my gears. I know that's your goal, but in the interest of unemotional debate, I ask you to please refrain in the future; further, how would you feel if I posted similar images with Obama's face? Or ones where perhaps Obama is sodomizing Trump? Would it not offend you?

Funnily enough that's almost exactly the same thing I said to him barely 12 hours ago on the government shutdown thread.
 
I read a lot of dififfering views on here and got my own, politicians all lie and are all equally as selfish and in regards to Trump its not as if hes known for his cool calm tendencies.

So why is there an uproar either way every time he does something stupid?


Sure hes a knob etc but its not going to change. The fact he got in in the first place is telling and yeah he could get another term.

Big whoop. Its really not realistic to expect cool headed posts when it comes to him as look at the subject matter. Ppl are just different.

If person A thinks blah blah blah and person B thinks blah bla blah B its all much of a muchness.

Besides you guys love arguing. Just argue. Who cares?

WASHINGTON — Lobbying activity in Washington surged to $3.34 billion last year — its highest level since 2010 — as corporations, trade groups and other interests scrambled to make their mark on everything from fast-moving tax legislation to immigration policy during President Trump’s first year in office.

The new tally from the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics shows powerful and long-standing trade groups, such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Realtors, spending the most money to shape policy in 2017.

“Lobbyists appear not to have gotten the memo about draining the swamp,” said Sheila Krumholz, the center’s executive director, referring to Trump’s often-repeated campaign pledge to clean up Washington and rein in lobbyists.

The center’s tally also shows that lobbying by individual companies hit new levels.

Shouldn't you be more upset at the people then? Maybe trump is the president they deserve.

Granted I understand most people have more desire to avoid seeing the world destroyed than I do, but that's the approach I take.
