The 2018 Trump Presidency thread

Calling the trump administratiom "sick" sounds inflammatory, but it's not intended to be.
It just seems to be the best descriptor for the trump adminstration's rhetoric and action.

I mean, what action there is - it seems like whole lot more lot more trash-talking, trolling and boasting than leadership or governance.
It's not presidental, or rebellious, it's embarrassing to watch.

I did not mean that every single resignation listed was a direct result of Trump, but this overdue fostering of an environment where sexual assault victims feel empowered to come forward would not have happened if Clinton had won. So Trump does get credit for that whether you want to admit it or not. And it is not because of false abuse accusations against him, it is because he is not protecting the real sickos. He absolutely despises them and with good reason. Weinstein was one of Hillary's best friends. They have neighboring houses in the Hamptons. EVERYONE KNEW for decades what that guy was doing but they let it slide (one reason being that so many others act similarly as it is the culture of the industry). Major media outlets were approached with the Weinstein story years ago and they refused to touch it. Celebrities were using their pull to coerce journalists. The police had goddamn audio of Weinstein admitting to committing assault from one of his victims who was willing to put her body in his presence again after she was assaulted, wear a wire to get the evidence, and then the police did nothing. Weinstein hired goddamn ex-Mossad agents to harass and intimidate victims and journalists into silence. That went on for years and then all of a sudden he gets exposed - coincidentally when Trump is President. It's not a fucking coincidence. Then look at the avalanche of people getting exposed - this is obviously a bipartisan problem - but an overwhelmingly majority have ties to the Left.

So if you think the large number of resignations and politicians quietly exiting has nothing to do with Trump, aren't you wondering what's causing them all?

Mark my words there is a massive and shocking criminal enterprise that is on the verge of collapse and exposure. I'm ready for it and it is still going to stun me. Let me give you one example of how entrenched this perverse network extends to. I remember back when Hillary Clinton lost the election, Julia Gillard almost immediately put a stop to large payments that were going from Australia to the Clinton Foundation. I knew the Foundation was pretty dodgy but now I read this:

Dr Jerome Corsi

"Here the work of New York-based financial analyst Charles Ortel is extremely important. Ortel's meticulous work has documented that the Clinton Foundation has solicited almost $100 million to fight HIV/AIDS from the Australian government starting by 2006.

Ortel insists the Clinton Foundation was certainly not authorized to fight HIV/AIDS, anywhere and failed, in any case, to ensure that medicines distributed in its name were safe, rather than adulterated, and lethal.

To combat HIV/AIDS in Africa, the Clintons bought defective HIV/AIDS medications manufactured by Ranbaxy in India. As I pointed out in my book, the medicines delivered to Africa by the Clinton Foundation were not capable of curing anyone of anything. The Clinton Foundation pocketed tens of millions of dollars in the appalling scam.

On May 13, 2013, in what developed as a global pharmaceutical scandal, Ranbaxy pleaded guilty to seven federal criminal counts of selling adulterated drugs with an intent to defraud, failing to report that its drugs didn't meet specifications, and making intentionally false statements to the government. In pleading guilty, Ranbaxy also agreed to pay $500 million in fines, forfeitures, and penalties, the most ever levied against a generic-drug company.

A Fortune Magazine article published in 2013, perhaps best captured the moral bankruptcy of Ranbaxy by relating a conference call Dr. Kathy Spreen, Ranbaxy's executive director of clinical medicine had with a dozen company executives in which one of the participating Ranbaxy executives dismissed Ranbaxy's concern that the company was producing defective ARV drugs for HIV/AIDS patents in Africa by saying "Who cares. It's just blacks dying".

In an email to the author of the decode, Ortel said:

"With conflicted crony directors, and shoddy accountants, the Clinton team ran roughshod around the world likely diverting donated funds for illegal purposes, including political campaigns and personal enrichment.

"That such large sums were sourced so long from Australia likely means numerous Australian politicians and bureaucrats were in on the fraud.

"Time will tell whether the Australian people will demand justice and recompense for themselves, as U.S. government authorities now try to make plain no one is above the law.

"Not former president Bill Clinton.

"Not aspiring president Hillary Clinton.

"And not significant foundation donors including the Gates and Rockefeller Foundations (and many others) who must have known better".

Draining the swamp will not be contained to the United States, the after-effects will be felt EVERYWHERE.

How did anything trump has done lead to the (conservative) lord mayor of melbourne taking leave because of allegations of sexual misconduct?

Can you explain the link to trump's "swamp draining" to this?

(Besides the fact that both of these old men are alleged sex offenders, of course)

I literally explained it all above please follow along.

THE LEFT: Trump's a billionaire TV-star who has no political experience, we need to replace him!

ALSO THE LEFT: Oprah, a billionaire TV-star with no political experience, would be a great president!

Notable polititions leaving office (37 IN TOTAL)
...
Dec. 16 Scottish Labour party-deputy leader
this one caught my eye for obvious reasons.

rowley resigned due to issues arising from a harassment claim. can you join the dots and help me understand how this is in any way related to trump let alone an issue for which trump somehow gets credit?

i just found this.

wait, so because trump is a boorish character who thinks it's ok to grab women by the pussy because he's rich and he's somebody against whom a number of women have made allegations of inappropriate sexual advances and that has emboldened women generally to speak out against awful men just like trump, you credit trump for that?

wow. seriously, just wow.

Well she does read and has a vocabulary beyond 5th grade level.

Presidents don't need to be con law schools but should be able to read briefs

.

You are not proving anything liquid. You are insisting there is causation but still not explaining why. Simply saying "cos Trump" is not an explanation.

I don't know why this is happening nor whether it is anomalous or not. That's your hypothesis to prove.

I think a lot of people (women especially) are sick of creeps like trump thinking they can behave like boorish shitheads with impunity.
It's one of the few good things about trump. It's helping motivate and mobilise people with politics that are the opposite of the hard right racist/sexist/homophobic bullshit embodied by trump, pence et al.

A lot of people i know have become politically active because of this sick trump shit.

Well apparently they can. Sometimes anyway. I thought the shit that came out before the election would sink trump, but nope. Guess my opinion of people still wasn't quite low enough.

The mistake I made was not realizing the number of people who either don't care, or would care but don't believe it/refuse to believe it.

I wouldn't vote for Oprah.

The Golden Globes have once again disappointed me, but that's another topic entirely. I'm pretty damn sick of movie stars thinking award ceremonies are a good time for soap boxing.

I wouldn't be a voter if it weren't for Trump though tbh. Even though my vote did nothing to stop him, I'll be there for at least the national elections every two years now. He scared me shitless.

Don't we all feel like a stable genius after a fat line of coke?

Of course, claiming to be a "stable genius" is quite self-defeating.

I don't know how many times I need to explain this but there are many women that love to be grabbed by their pussies if it's consensual. Why do you think that leaked audio didn't sink Trump's chances in the election? Why do you think a surprising amount of white women still voted for Trump after they heard that audio? The only people that are shocked by what Trump said are the virtue-signalers, the Trump haters or the betas that don't understand the truth about male/female social dynamics. We all need to be honest with ourselves and then admit that there's a difference between being a womanizer and being a sexual assaulter. To the untrained eye they may even sometimes look similar, the key difference being that the woman is OK with it. So if a woman loves powerful high-status man and is ok having their pussy grabbed (after making it clear that they will be fine with it), who are you to judge or even tell those women what they are or aren't allowed to do with their bodies? Why do we have evidence now that Trump's opponents were offering hundreds of thousands of dollars to women to come up with fake assault allegations against him? Why are there none that are credible? How come almost 100 credible women were very quick to come out against Weinstein when the floodgates opened yet we're not seeing the same with Trump and he's supposed to be a similarly disgusting rapist? There are so many people that hate Trump with a passion and really want to see him removed but we don't have enough evidence to remove him for sexual impropriety? It does not make sense. I'm also getting really tired of explaining this ad nauseum.

Trump so far has done well on his way to fulfilling his campaign promises. One of his major promises was that he was going to drain the swamp. He even recently put out an EO that will allow the government to seize assets of individuals engaged in corruption and/or human rights abuses, and now we are seeing an unprecedented flood of people exiting their respective fields. I admit it is not (yet) conclusive and I do not believe that every resignation is directly related, but I would like to hear an alternative theory as to why this is all suddenly happening and why it has nothing to do with Trump.

As for being like, really smart and a stable genius lol he is trolling you all. The guy IS a genius, economically and politically, and one of the reasons why has succeeded so far is due to making others think that he is unintelligent and incompetent. Imagine what you could get done if you were super smart but everyone thought you were stupid? You might even be able to outsmart the entire political establishment of the most powerful country in the world, and then not only emerge unscathed from their concerted attacks but also flip them back around and entrap the attackers. GENIUS

He's not trolling, he's fucked in the head.

If he was smart he would have kept his ignorant rhinoplasty out of politics.
And he would've covered his tracks (re: money laundering and mob links).

But he didn't do that, and he's paying the price - i think he will die in prison, and i suspect most of his family will be joining him there.

Also, "stable genius" types don't tend to have multiple allegations of sexual assault against them. No matter how you try and justify him being a creep, a pervert and a dirty old man, what he is accused of was not consensual. I hope those claims add a few years to his sentence.

Maybe he won't be charged until he's out of the white house - there's not much point convicting a crook who can pardon himself - but i have little doubt trump's world of extravagant overindulgence is going to come crashing down hard upon him.

If he wasn't smart he would have been impeached by now. When will he be removed by, care to make a prediction?

And he would've covered his tracks (re: money laundering and mob links).
I've yet to see any solid evidence of him committing serious crimes, so I don't know what you're referring to.
Russian theory is dead now yea?

Also, "stable genius" types don't tend to have multiple allegations of sexual assault against them.
Being intelligent and sexual impropriety have no correlation.
And keyword being allegations. Honest question, is it possible that someone could make a false accusation against someone for political purposes. Do you think that this ever happens? Could it have happened in Trump's case? The guy demonstrably used to associate with a plethora of some of the most beautiful women in the world. Nobody credible has come forth. This makes zero sense. Especially coupled with evidence like this:

Hillary Clinton backer paid $500,000 to fund women accusing Trump of sexual misconduct before Election Day
