The 2018 Trump Presidency thread

So what you're saying is that you want orthers to be open and willing to listen to your views, but you're unwilling to reciprocate and are only willing to be hostile towards people that don't share your beliefs?

When and where am I not willing to reciprocate????

I'm not being hostile, look up the definition.

Also, when you post images like that, it really grinds my gears. I know that's your goal, but in the interest of unemotional debate, I ask you to please refrain in the future; further, how would you feel if I posted similar images with Obama's face? Or ones where perhaps Obama is sodomizing Trump? Would it not offend you?

Go for it CG, I will not refrain for posting images, by all means post whatever images you feel pertain to the subject of your post.

Trumps whole campaign is about hate.

Please elaborate because last time I checked it was Bills wife that painted the country's voting majority as a whole, as deplorable and irredeemable that imo is rife with hatred.

NARCO-A-LAGO: MONEY LAUNDERING AT THE TRUMP OCEAN CLUB PANAMA

Bannon's big reveal in new Trump book is 'all about money laundering'

Trump condo sales indicate possible money laundering, says report

'Steele dossier' firm suspected Trump-Russia money laundering

When you search "trump money laundering" there are pages of such articles.
But i think these are all from 2018, for context.

The allegations make sense, because what bank would loan money to a man that has been bankrupt as many times as trump?

Nothing proven yet - but 'where there's smoke, there's fire'

Oh goody, you're back.

Ill repeat exactly what I said in the very next sentence after the one you quoted. I won't accept "but they do it too!" as an excuse.

Trumps campaign was as negative as you get. Everything about him is matter if taking groups of people and saying they're the reason for everything wrong in America. That's pretty hateful to me.

As for spacejunk. The problem is you outright suggested Trump was a money laundered. You shouldn't do that unless you can back it up with more than an allegation. Yes where there's smoke there is often fire and that might well be the case here too. But I think it only hurts your credibility when you make an assertion that turns out untrue. Once or twice is only human, but it's something to keep in mind and avoid doing too often.

Sorry - alleged money launderer.
From many many sources.
Have you seen that BBC documentary that was done a couple of years back?
There are some really damning allegations all over the place.

I mean - a guy who has been bankrupt that many times can generally not get loans from "traditional" banks.
The suggestion is that his financial recovery - to become a self-proclaimed billionaire - wouldn't have been possible without dirty money.
And to me, that makes sense.

I mean, it emerged last year (wasn't made public at the time) that trump's attempts to buy australia's first casino (crown in sydney) in the 1980s was rejected by the nsw state government because of his well-known mafia links.

It seems to me that these sort of claims must, at some point, have a basis in reality.
How far it goes, is the question.

I think the mueller investigation may very well uncover the extent of it.
At which point i suspect he will be found - at some stage - to be a totally illegitimate president.
Like he spent all those years trying to claim of obama - with his "winning formula" of conspiracy bullshit and racism.

But you're right jess, i should have said "alleged". It was early :)

On the whole I agree with your assertion that where there's smoke there's fire. Which is why I tend to believe the allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct are probably true.

When it's just one or two people with an apparent motive I'm inclined towards skepticism. But when it's one, then another, then another all separate from each other seemingly more interested in making it known more than anything else, then I'm inclined to believe it. The real ones don't look the same as the fakes. Trumps looks like a real one to me.

For example, I've never really found the abuse allegations against Michael Jackson to be very credible. Which is why I make constant jokes about Michael Jackson abusing children. Or I did until he died. I wouldn't have found it so funny if I thought it was probably true. I don't make those jokes about trump because I think it's entirely plausible that they're true.

And as for you David, last I checked your name had "temporary ban" under it. Hence my comment. I'm not interested in arguing immigration with you, not till I see you try to morally justify how someone who's lived their entire life in America from childhood to adulthood should ever face deportation. That's the question I posed just before your account showed temporary ban on it.

I still wonder what I first thought which is that you don't actually even know what the dreamers situation is all about and just heard the word immigration and ignored the rest in your reaction.

trump campaign was about manipulation and control, he wanted to be wrong and people blindly accepted as a life gift. However, Obama in his right and back, left some rules and his own formulas & ideas, he wanted to claim them but he was shocked when the reality train hit him in the face. He is just a cow that squeeze milk but don't want to work for it like a voodoo hex, my question is why America still wants a president? we protect & survives on ourselves, these laws are made by them for them not for us because we wouldn't need it. trump(i dont write his name with big letter) launderer money is not because of the mafia nor his ”work” but because the system and society allowed it to be robbed, a lot of money owned by him are from our pockets but we already know that right? a lot of money owned by him are because he steals from banks even though his past is bankrupt, trump is just a fuckin punk. Anyway rothschild families, other guys who robbed everything that had $ on it just like him, funny was that they pretty much stealed from eachother, even though rothschild wouldn't have to be bothered by his pockets since we all know that they own every little thing in this world, fuck them boys too. trump is linked with mafia tho but the pen and papers are still at his own eyeball, soon they will rob him too even with his arts and bank tops. This muppet has weak points, a lot

It's also pretty damn obvious that trump has no respect for people.
That's one of the main causes of sexual violence and abuse - unchecked privilege.
It is the case with domestic violence, and i suspect it is the case here.
When people have a lack of empathy, and a distorted sense of self worth, they're capable of all kinds of unpleasant things.

Like, y'know - dividing a country with racist vitriol and personal attacks.
The man is a disgrace and it's a pleasure to watch him squirm.

His supporters seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel too.

I was unaware, I've been too busy working to post although I'm not surprised.

Maybe my post answering your question wasn't posted as I've made many posts that just happen to disappear into the ether.

The dreamers, a good majority of whom are now adults, had the opportunity to try and immigrate legally after they became adults, but instead they choose not to follow the law.

By breaking the law they've become criminals.

Children under 18 (as of this moment) that were forcefully made to enter this country due to their parent's disregard for the law should have amnesty, but not some 36 year old that had 17 years to meet compliance.

They should be focusing their anger towards their nation of origin AND their parents who flagrantly broke the law to take advantage of a country for their own selfish benifet instead of the USA and it's government.

But then corporations wouldn't have a slave class to take advantage of and liberals wouldn't have a potential future voters.

My grandfather's parents immigrated to this country legally to escape Bolshevism, they put their entire lineage at risk due to the fact that the family was not able to immigrate at once. But their hard work and determination paid off and eventually the family as a whole made it.

They were skilled, they had money and were looking for opportunity, they weren't penniless and seeking a government to support them.

Their ideals were in line with America's they weren't wanting to recreate an existing community into the shithole they escaped.

I am not racist, I believe people that hate others or judge others by the color of their skin are vile, but PC culture has polarized free thinking people's minds to the point that you cannot criticize other cultures and that is very dangerous.

Because all cultures are not alike in the least some cultures are poisonous to each other because of a difference of values.

Ok, then I have a different question.

Say they did try to get citizenship. Do you think they should get it?

You don't think of them as Americans? Cause that's the crux of what I'm getting at here. That the idea that someone could have lived every moment of their life that they can remember in the United States till they're an adult and NOT have every right to citizenship is an obscene perversion of common sense and I want to know if you'd agree, and if you don't, then why.

Some people dont like images, its not as if this forum is over run by them. A comic relief doesnt seem a big deal.

A good read is some different perspectives, yours is as valid and worthwhile as anyones.

I turned off news articles on fb and dont watch the news anymore. Its just Trump Trump Trump. This thread is enough to see whats goingbon.

Very entertaining to all contributors!

Oh please don't act like your grandparents jumped through a series of high hurdles. All they did was show up at Elis island and walk up some stairs without looking overly winded.

But I do agree that niether party wants to solve illegal immigration. They could end the problem tommorow if they imposed a steep fine on any person or company employing an illegal.

I hardly see it as comic relief. I find the images more vulgar than the rampant dick pics in the nudie thread.

Years ago anything Russian mentioned and the GOP would have blood coming out of their mouth and would have crucified anything to do with that. Hmmm, but now that power is at stake, I believe some of these supporters would get on their knees and say how good it was to administer to President Trump. That is screwed up!

Hey, I don't like Hillary either but this is something different. Yes all politicians can be underhanded, but this display of denial really is historical. This is simple. I also have a friend that lost all his money years ago in a business deal because Trump declared bankruptcy and left the investors dangling in Nyack NY. For someone like President Trump he could have taken the hit and still be rich and all the investors could have gotten money back and lived on. Losing that money broke up the guy's family and was a sad situation. I am sure he is not the only one. But hey, it was perfectly legal for Trump to declare bankruptcy (and brag about it). But I knew years ago Trump would save his own skin before helping anyone or anything. I don't understand the denial. The hate, the willingness to break up a family just because they can be douchbags. It is plain to see in the light. He ain't going to do shit for anyone but himself. And when he finally turns on his son in law and daughter to show his true colors supporters will continue to make excuses. But I think that goes beyond tribalism.

I can't continue in these discussions. But keep at it Spacejunk. You make the most sense to me.

And famous words, Here comes the con man coming with his con plan. :)
