And as for you David, last I checked your name had "temporary ban" under it. Hence my comment. I'm not interested in arguing immigration with you, not till I see you try to morally justify how someone who's lived their entire life in America from childhood to adulthood should ever face deportation. That's the question I posed just before your account showed temporary ban on it.
I still wonder what I first thought which is that you don't actually even know what the dreamers situation is all about and just heard the word immigration and ignored the rest in your reaction.
I was unaware, I've been too busy working to post although I'm not surprised.
Maybe my post answering your question wasn't posted as I've made many posts that just happen to disappear into the ether.
The
dreamers, a good majority of whom are now adults, had the opportunity to try and immigrate legally after they became adults, but instead they choose not to follow the law.
By breaking the law they've become criminals.
Children under 18 (as of this moment) that were forcefully made to enter this country due to their parent's disregard for the law should have amnesty, but not some 36 year old that had 17 years to meet compliance.
They should be focusing their anger towards their nation of origin AND their parents who flagrantly broke the law to take advantage of a country for their own selfish benifet instead of the USA and it's government.
But then corporations wouldn't have a slave class to take advantage of and liberals wouldn't have a potential future voters.
My grandfather's parents immigrated to this country legally to escape Bolshevism, they put their entire lineage at risk due to the fact that the family was not able to immigrate at once. But their hard work and determination paid off and eventually the family as a whole made it.
They were skilled, they had money and were looking for opportunity, they weren't penniless and seeking a government to support them.
Their ideals were in line with America's they weren't wanting to recreate an existing community into the shithole they escaped.
I am not racist, I believe people that hate others or judge others by the color of their skin are vile, but PC culture has polarized free thinking people's minds to the point that you cannot criticize other cultures and that is very dangerous.
Because all cultures are not alike in the least some cultures are poisonous to each other because of a difference of values.
