THC level of 38%..???

Hey Blowmonkey, do you have any pictures of such highly potent flowers? Overgrow is down and it's been ages since I've seen such delicious buds.

That sounds like a lot of BS. I learned in Health class in the ninth grade, almost 10 years ago, that in the 70s the commercial pot was maybe 2-5%THC, and the best of the best stuff was between 5-6%, and now in the 90's (this was than obviously) that the commercial stuff was more around 5-6% and the "Chronic" ranged from 6-15% THC. I think the THC percentages are def. going upwards not downwards, with all the different strands and growing techniques, but 38% sounds a bit much. I wouldnt be surprised if you found extremely expensive stuff once in a great while that was close to 20%, but the normal kind bud or chronic weed is most likely between 10-15% . Remember that different parts of the country(and world) have access to better qualtity pot. I live in Maine, and find that the pot is fairly good. Just have fun, be safe, and who really cares what the % of the THC is, as long as its getting you high, and not making you feel weird.;) ;) 8) 8(

I think average dank bud percentages maybe be more like 12-15% now. There is definitely top-in-the-world cannabis that has gotten well over 20%, but this is quite rare to find.
 
The only thing I could think of is if it was dipped (soaked?) in hash oil to create the fairly unscientific figure of 38%. Maybe someone added 25% hash oil and 13% bud and just added the percentages?

The person who did that would be a retard 8)
If you take a gram of 25% and a gram of 13%, you'll have 2 gram of 19%
 
g-13 has a 27 or 28% thc content rating doesnt it? and i know an experienced grower can get a little more out of a plant if they play their cards right.

average dank bud = 16% = $40-$50 an eigth for me
DANK DANK DANK headies ( og kush... purple urkle ) = 22%-25% = $60-70 a 1/8th

on the other hand... hash... wow, shits potent

Bubblehash = 60-75% pure THC...
Honey oil =80-90% pure THC
Budder = 99% pure THC

This is just a marketing scheme.

And your percentages are a bit on the high side. Take ~20% of off both bubblehash and hash oil and they're more like it.
 
Even if it was somehow %38 resin, resin is not %100 THC..

I'm pretty sure herb pushing %20 THC would be as close to "one hit wonder" as most people are likely to come across. And if that was actually %20 THC and not a %20 THC/CBD/CBN mix.. mmmmmm.. I think I'm drooling.
