since by its very nature extraction is the removing or separtion of one substance from another so if the vegetative naterial was ground and with a second extraction from PET there would remain in the filter some of the finer particulate which helps to filter itself as it layers up on the filter surface . the majority of any oils having been leached out of the material i imagine whats left is stained sawdust.
i don't think it would be worthy of the name kief for the kief i've seen was extracted with a perforated spinning barrel type apparatus which allowed the semi-dry globules to drop out after being knocked loose from the friction and using the second quality or scragg bud for the starter feed, no sense fucking up what's nature perfect. this was also accomplished by laying plastic under the drying harvest and the next couple of days taking a credit card and collecting what has fallen off...thousands of krystalized shiny golden globules
having tried a few preps the one i find that works is to spread the oil on zig zags and enhance med to high quality shake although a little dip on my cigs is pretty stealth, but all in all it's been another life ago since you could find ether in my pantry and my name is a clue what i think about pet ether or most solvents only using water now with expendable leaf and mostly for brownies but then again i used to be a trailblazer but now my cutting edge is more like a rubber knife, so what's new?
