I watched as the leaves fell from grace,
And I gazed as the wind reshaped our lives,
Then I sat and stared as the rain gave us redemption,
Before looking around at all this creation
That is ours, and ours alone.
The spring in my step belies the newness of the grass,
Come skip with me through the flower fields and
We'll run through the shower of the dogwood trees ,
For they hold a magic world beneath their branches
That we've missed since the days of forts and treehouses.
Air as clean as the spray of ocean's waves
Filling our minds with the visions of fairy's dancing,
Breathing in the joy of a sun who's work is done and play time just begun,
And I will call to you from across the path,
"Run my friend, do not postpone, for spring is upon us and the day is young."

Dear, if it helps to make up for all of the pleasure I get out of reading the things you post here, then I am glad. :)
