Opioids That cliche tolerance question..

Swim loves drugs. Swim has been able to experiment and steadily use many drugs without becoming addicted, mostly due to his extreme (often relationship ruining) frugality. Then opiates came into play, the one drug that really no amount of restraint can control.

Swim and his cronies take blues (roxy). Started out as just a quarter, then a half, now swim takes about three quarters of one and enjoys a nice feeling. (I know -- very low doses indeed).

Swim knows that the tolerance is creeping up. If Swim managed to take 1 roxy per week (seriously let's just assume this could be kept up for a while) how long before his tolerance would increase to say...one and a half?

Swim can keep himself busy enough to realistically keep the dose down to ONCE a week. Most likely only 3 quarters of one on say..thursdays.

First off - please use first person pronouns. We don't allow SWIM here.

Next, there is no way to answer this because tolerance acquisition is a process that is very subjective and manifests rather uniquely. Also, this topic has been discussed extensively so if you'd like some views/experiences, please try out the search engine.

In general, its always a good idea to check the directory and conduct some searches prior to starting threads. Also, the guidelines and standards links in my signature will give you a better feel for what does and does not belong in Other Drugs.
