Hiya Martin,
Please try not to worry. Because something terrible happened to one person doesn't mean it will happen to you.
I'm going to give you a bit of advice and suggestions. I can't tell you what to do, only advice you, so please don't think I'm am but if I appear to be doing so please feel free to tell me to back off

There are things you can do. What is your diet like? Are you eating enough fibre? Are you drinking plenty of water? Not too much, of course, because too much can dilute the good stuff in our bodies. But drinking water should help. Prunes, cranberries, nuts (almonds, pecan unsalted), orange juice; things like that. Exercise will help. This can be hard when on high does of suboxone and sometimes we need to literally force ourselves to do it. I'm not talking high intensity; something like walking for maybe half hour a day? When I have to do something that I don't want to do; I tell myself "Only so many minutes n then it's over and I've the rest of the day to myself or for such n such!" I'm not sure about where you are but here in the UK; we have over the counter (OTC) medications to help with those problems if all else fails. I'm not sure I'm allowed to name the product I use so I won't, but as I said it may not be the same where you are from so if all else fails I would advise you to speak with your doctor or a pharmacist about getting some sort of medication to help relieve you.
I would also suggest to you to maybe try reducing maybe by 2 mg and see how that feels? Would you be willing to journal your dosage and comment on your feelings / side affects each day? If you do this, you could take that to your doctor and show/explain to him/her why it is better for you to be on a lower dosage. Having a journal will help you, yourself, know what is best for you. For instance, say you reduce to 14mg and side affect still preside, you read your diary for the last week/few days or whatever n every day is full of negative comments, then try reducing to 12mg and in a few days, read back to what you've wrote and if all is positive stay on that dose, if again all is negative, reduce to 10mg and so forth. Your doctor will then have visual evidence to back up what you are saying to him/her.
Hope that's been of some help to you and you are MORE THAN WELCOME to PM me anytime if you are worried, need to talk, advice, someone to listen to or whatever. Please try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done but honestly a lot of us on subs experience problems in the, let's say "rear end" department. You may find that once you've reduced, looked at your diet and exercise, that problem becomes less.
All the best,
Evey
I think he is taking 8mg in the AM and 8mg at night. "One" refers to a 8mg tab I believe.
I think you're right, CH, I have my suboxone in tablet form (I know you have some sort of film? in the states judging from conversations I've read n what I've seen on the subs MT). In the UK the tablets come in either 8mg or 2mg I'm assuming that, this is the case for the films also. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, CH, I really admire you - you've quit suboxone and you're still helping others on subs. I really admire you as that takes a strong person to do that, in my opinion. Hope you are doing ok xxxx
