The northern hills

Street stalls and
Rows of honking taxis

Slick with sweat
And smelling of
Cheap hotel soap
I want all we own
In the world
To fit into
Those same two bags
I want you drunk again
On beer, and the idea
Of never coming home

my boyfriend and i just got home from a month long holiday in thailand - it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. i am missing travelling already and finding it a little difficult to settle back into "normal", everyday life - there was just so much to see/always going on in thailand. hehe, my boyfriend are already planning our next overseas trip........

omg! this was fucking amazing. i have a chance to perform in thailand in december, but going would mean giving up any sense of job security i know have...it's been a tug-of-war and your words have swayed me far over to the "fuck it you only live once" side.....
