Does anyone else find this game as addicting as me? I play online and drive upstate once a year to play at the tables. Im not the mathmetition type, I draw out the bluff. And oh maybe bluff once or twice but you'll never know!!! Those are my two statagies since Im TERRRIBLE at math. I've been successfull winning 17% of my hands now. There arent many women as men but this is starting to change.

ANY WOMEN THAT ENJOY TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER? ANY STRATEGIES FOR A GAL BEEN PLAYING ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW.

Haha, I like to go and sit at the $2/$4 tables. I haven't been playing long, but it seems to work for me. I go in playing the "girls can't ply poker stereotype" and totally rock it. I'll look confused, put in the wrong amount, ask a lot of questions, maybe if I have like a pair of 10s and there's a K and Q on the board, I'll raise and obv I'm gonna lose, but I'll say something stupid like "oh, I didn't even think you could have had a higher pair!" or just play real dumb. Then when I really do have a good hand, I'll raise and till play dumb, make them think I don't know what I have, like if I have a straight ill act pissed and hesitate on calling people or raising or something like that.

"I'm a husstler baby.." lol, really, I'm bad, people end up saying "careful, she's a sneaky one" when new players sit down. Lol. It could work for you too! But you gotta SELL it! :) good luck!

@Suburu: I'm actually not sure. I've never played online for real cash. I don't like it because I read people, playing online I can't see their faces or pick up on their tells. That's a huge part of how I play so I'd be playing blind!! I do play like Zynga poker but that's not real, and I play with my dad. I don't think anything can substitute for actually being there with real people at a live table. Part of the rush is lyrin to people's faces! :D
BUt as far as the law about online gambling with real money, I have no idea. Prolly should look into that. Maybe people in the US use websites based outside the country, like this site?

lol that might work at the free tables but I can assure you it would only work on an absolute dunce at real money tables. But I concede there are bazillions of absolute dunces..........thankfully. They put money in my pocket.
