This thread is related to DXM but since it's content is solely about Guaifenesin, this is where it goes.

Last night I started my tolerance trial. I read somewhere on the internet that over time a patient can handle higher doses of Guaifenesin. The trial was for people suffering from fibromyalgia, I think, and one of the notes made by the doctor was to to start at a low dose and work your way up, as your body will get used to higher doses. This indicates tolerance.

I know the best method for ingesting DXM is by getting DXM only substances, but those are becoming more and more rare as our government (USA) is becoming more and more strict about EVERYTHING. I think one day we will not have access to DXM only medicines.

So, the reason for the trial!

Anyway I'll update this as I go along.

Last night I took about 1g. No nausea or vomiting. Maybe I already have a tolerance! Next time, 2g.

This is NOT where this goes. Please read the OD posting standards and guidelines... this is one of the reasons we have the BL BLOGS feature set up in the user control panel and the trip reports forum.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
