I had my testosterone tested and it was basically non existent. My doctor recommended TRT. he said we would start slow. I started 100mg once a month. Then moved to biweekly. one person told me that is very high for female. Does that seem unusual dose?

Amelya - if this is a docotor you trust, do as he says. However, a second opinion couldn't hurt. I've never been a fan of women using in ester of testosterone for competitive/muscle building purposes as there are some very negative side effects. However, i'm referring to female bodybuilders. I am no doctor, nor is anyone on this board that I know of. Go get a second opinion and make sure you're dose isn't too high. I'm guessing you are injecting testosterone cypionate?

I'm having the cypionate injected biweekly. I'll start doing my own injections if I stick with it. I do work out but not on that level or have any intention to.
Bad effects are I've never had acne but I've had a couple bumps I've never had like on Pomy cheeks. My breasts are very tender/sore feeling. And I think I'm a little more aggressive/moody than usual.

good effects are my workouts are easier and I now have a sex drive. I'll talk to him more but he's not a doctor I'm willing to risk losing.

100mg sounds very heavy to me for long term use. My wife cycles low doses of Anavar in the winter and oral Winstrol in the summer bikini months. This makes her sex drive very high but no negative side effects. She says one of the first signs you are running too much gear is vaginal dryness so if you have issues with that or voice changes I would talk to your doctor right away.

Re-how old

I think it depends on your reasons for using and goals. It also depends on how many unwanted side effects you are willing to put up with. I could write for days on my wife and i's journey through the years with our 15 years of steroid use. I have decided I will always cycle low - moderate doses at least 5-6 months a year for the rest of my life. My wife is waiting to see how it goes as she gets older. I think a female could go forever if the proper amount of estrogen was taken after menopause but it would depend on the person. One thing to keep in mind is that steroids have a much more intense effect on a womans emotions than on men. My wifes first cycle was 50mg of deca per week. Within 2 weeks she was confused that she was suddenly very attracted to women. By the end of the 6 week cycle she was completely bisexual and has been ever since. It has also made her change in other more subtle ways mostly for the better. I guess what I'm saying is that it WILL change you and who you are in some way. So you should think long and hard befor making the decision to start using if your female.
