tergretol and lsd

Does anybody have any experience with this drug and lsd it is use to treat bipolar disorder but it is not an anit psychotic so i dont know if it has any negative affects to lsd like making it less strong, ext. also i take lamictal what about that?

I moved your first thread on this subject over to The B&D Interactions Thread as it would seem to be its natural home. Not sure of the answer myself but hopefully somebody here will and they will answer it there. As such... closed.

Its GABAergic, so yeah, it will reduce the effects of LSD quite a bit. Lamictal, moreso. Just let your mood settle, and then worry about psychedelics.

Also- tegretol feels awful IMO; as a sidenote, you'd probably be better on a low dose of seroquel or even a plain benzo, like valium.
