tenth of pretty good heroin VS 4 mg Dilaudid. Which would be your choice?

$xxx for the Dilaudid (which to me is WAAAAY over priced, but, hey, SWIM is paying..their call).

In my heavy using days, I was a big fan bc AT THE TIME it was cheap and when IV'd had an AWESOME rush to it. But after that, wasn't much for euphoria. Just kept me even... unless I did more.

IV'd H a few times before cleaning up a few years back. I liked it ok. The effects could be felt for much longer and seemed to be much more strong.

My question is:

Which one would you take and why?

Dilaudid, because of the rush/orgasm it provides, as well as the fact that pharos are more reliable than street drugs

Exactly what i was thinking, esp the "rush." That goes a long way in my book.

However, since I've never really IV'd H (but i know it doesnt give that magnitude of a rush, I was hoping more people would weigh in, more specifically to consider the price part of it. The D would be a one time hit. Would the H be that way also? Could i stretch it out further or is a tenth not worth doing that. Which one goes further? Im trying to run a marathon, not a sprint. :-).thank you for your opinion BigFan, someone else please weigh in with your opiinions

I would personally take the hydromorphone, because: 1) pure as opposed to street drugs, and 2) I don't know about you, but scoring H is a lot easier than Dillies here.

Are you planning on IVing? I'm assuming yes, I don't know how much good 4mg of hydromorphone would do you via other routes... I dunno. I'm told hydromorphone has a more wicked rush than heroin, but after that it plateaus to a pretty stale high - H is longer-lasting. You'd get one dose out of the Dilaudid - if the smack is relatively pure, and you don't have a high tolerance, you should get more than one IV dose out of it.

Yes I am. and that was a point I was trying to make was its only one 4 mg dilly ( not an 8mg). And YES the rush IS wicked no doubt. I getting more than one dose from the H was another argument for H that I was trying to ask an your answered. Thank you for the insght.

Its a touch choice bc that Dilly rush is incredible.
 
I'm going to ignore price point here... I'd go with the H every time, and I love hydromorphone. I don't inject, so the fabled rush of the dilaudid would be lost on me. The heroin would definitely get me higher. I'd need at least 8mg of dilaudid for it to be a contest. Even then I'd probably go with the H, assuming it's at least 60%. Hydromorphone is more potent by weight but not by THAT much.
 
I'd go with the heroin because 4 mg of Dilaudid is nothing. Plus heroin is just better.

Hydromorphone is about 6x more potent by weight than heroin is.
 
Quality over quantity. Preferably both, but that's not the case here.

With the dilaudid you know exactly what and howmuch you're getting. Most people seem to prefer it over H. (haven't tried either) If that is the case for you too then go for it I"d say,
 
100mg of heroin should be at least as strong as 16mg of hydromorphone...
