tension headache?

Basically, I smoked a couple bowls of crystals yesterday, and I had THE MOST intense headache for the next 6 hours. My temples, neck, and eyes hurt to the point where I couldn't do anything. Weed didn't help, I just had to ride it out.

I spend no more than 50$ a month on the shit, just when I need an extra boost haha.

I'm just wondering what could be the issue, and should I be worried? The headaches seem to match symptoms with "tension headaches", so I'm assuming its just from getting too strung and tiring my body out?

I know my drugs well, so its not often I get worried about somethin. But I can't find anything pertinent to this on the forums.. so help would be much appreciated! :)

Ha I do sit on the computer a lot. But why would it affect me certain times more than others? If my body wasn't such an asshole I would've happily walked somewhere. haha.

The Captain speaks the truth. I've noticed during my amphetamine adventures I tend to both sit in the same position for a long time and forget to drink water. Dehydration and tension = serious headache.

Make sure you're drinking lots of fluids!

pretty basic question = basic drug discussion.

also don't go over drinking water. keep your usual hydration up unless performing strenuous actvity (dancing for long periods, etd) where you'll need a little extra.

sorry to say but you mustn't know meth side effects that well. headaches are a common side effect - not always pertaining to the same reason.

yeah whenever i take adderall i get a headache usually 5-7 hours later i guess during the comedown, i drink PLENTY of water during and i still have one

when i take amphetamines, sometimes I find myself SO focused on what I am doing (painting, reading, etc.) that I have my neck/head in the same position for very long, and the amphetamine can cause me to "strain" my muscles without realizing it. Once you snap out of the tightened posture, it sure as hell hurts.

your probably not eating or drinking much which can throw your electrolytes out of balance causing unpleasant side effects such as headaches, muscle pain/ soreness, spasms, etc. if your gonna put your body through a couple days of unnourished physical strain, be sure to keep yourself hydrated. drink plenty of fluids, gatorade/water, and force yourself to eat at least 1 protein bar or power bar per day that your using. By preventing the negative side effects as much as possible, you can enjoy your "high" much more!

sumatriptan maybe (does the trick got me, 50mg max 100mg in one go) + only 500mg acetaminophen.
Wait 2 hours before take a second dose.

If it does't work, sumatriptan is simply not the solution for you

I've been advised against consuming any drugs that affect serotonin when using my sumatriptan by the doctor that scripted me the sumatriptan. I know my doctor was most likely talking about SSRI antidepressants, but I feel the same contra-indication would exist for any triptan and amphetamines, methamphetamine certainly affects the serotonin levels in your brain.

Tread carefully. I wouldn't consume triptans at all while on amphetamine (or methamphetamine).

"I wouldn't consume triptans at all while on amphetamine (or methamphetamine). "

You're right

but I feel the same contra-indication would exist for any triptan and amphetamines, methamphetamine certainly affects the serotonin levels in your brain.

Methamphetamine releases serotonin to a certain extent but amphetamines do not. I know you didn't say amphetamines release serotonin but just wanted to clear that up so nobody gets that impression.
