I'm at the end of my var cycle, today was supposed to be the last day. Yesterday was my chest and shoulder day, and during my third set on the flat bench, my left elbow and shoulder started killing me. Everyone I've talked to had told me to take a break for a week or so, but that is terrible timing as I was going to start my pct tomorrow, and I don't want to lose a lot of the gains I have made. So should I Stay on the var for another week or so and see if I'm able to get over the shoulder pain? Or should I just go on pct and hope that I keep as much as possible? I've been running it at 80mg a day for the past 3 weeks or so, 70 for a while before that and started at 50. It's been 7 weeks since I started, haven't noticed any shutdown yet. Whats the best route to go here? Also, has anyone had success using glucosamine/chondroitin to help with joint soreness? Any other supplements anyone would recommend? Thanks

I've just used a glucosamine liquid product for some shoulder pain and it worked pretty well. Apparently as liquid it has much better bioavailablity. That plus lots of fish oil.

You will definetly be shutdown from 7 weeks of var @ >50mg/ED. As for whether or not to continue... IDK up to you. Maybe run @ 25mgs ED and do lots of cardio...

whats your PCT?

you might have success switching to floor pressing or military pressing to maintain gains without aggravating your shoulder/elbow.

My pct is just some tamoxifen. I tried to do standing military press after I benched the other day, with low weight, and it just didn't feel right so I called it a day. My leg day went great yesterday tho. I guess I'l take a week or two of of upper bodystuff, and hopefully I don't lose too much.
