tell me something you love about yourself v. <3

• I love that I am not a mutable character.
• I love that I disregard the popular opinion of others.
• I love my small waist.
• I love my ability to influence others to think in an unconventional and beneficial manner.
• I love my intuitive nature.
• I love my eyelashes.
• I love my sense of style.
• I love that people come to me when in need of an intellectual conversation.
• I love my long legs.
• I love that I am a Leo, so that I have an excuse for all this shit.

Lol the last ones great the others are too you sound pretty interesting....
Buuuut you're still not a scorpio, so I have an excuse to be a little more awesome than you ;p j/k

Re-distributed yeah that was pretty funny lol. There is definitely a lack of what shall we call it...umm thought... involved in some peoples vocabulary.
Inherently i guess an abundance of apathy for using ones mind at all these days lol

It terrifies me to think that the world will be placed in the hands of a generation with barely a grasp on their own native language. I don't know if the problem is the same with other languages but I hope not.

I have to keep a good grasp of English as I'm traveling in June to teach it :D

Hell you could teach english with a scottish romanian accent mixed with yiddish and your pupils would end up speaking more proper English than 98% of our country lol

I love my ablity to destroy inflated egos with a wry cutting remark
I love that I make a lot of money with my writing ability and rhetoric
I love that I've played in bands with some pretty cool bands Melt Banana my favourite
I love that I can talk to IMF directors, government ministers and CEOs and get them to say things they later regret
I love that despite a questionable past, I'm in demand professionally
But most of all, I love my sense of modesty, which is second to none (spot the oxymoron in that sentence and I salute you)

What you did there Captain, I see it! =D

What do I love about myself? Apart from my stunning good looks, youthful complexion, enormous intellect and suave charms that have both men and women literally throwing themselves at me you mean? Wow, that's a tough one. :sus: :\

  • I like my openness to new things, and that my hunger for knowledge has not diminished with age. I am still the same curious child wants to know everything about everything I always was.
  • I like that my love of language means I'm often quite good at communicating that enthusiasm to others in a way that has sometimes helped them become more open to new experiences in their own lives, or more open with themselves. That has value.
  • I like my ability to so easily empathise with others, largely because I have both an active imagination, and the willingness to actively apply it to others. Compassion for another's suffering flows easily from this I think, though I'm less good at doing something useful and constructive with that compassion at times, wish I was better at doing something more valuable with it than simply empathising.
  • I like that material wealth and social status are about as meaningful to me as they ought to be, which is not at all. Not in the way such things are usually measured in this fucked up world we live in.
  • I like that generally I could give a fuck what others choose to believe and think. They can believe and think what they like. By the same token, I claim that right for myself, whether that meets social approval, or not. I care what those I care about or respect think, don't get me wrong. Everyone else can take a flying one.
  • I like that despite what life has thrown at me, and the shit I've thrown at myself, I am not yet so jaded, cynical and bitter as to be so completely defeated that hope is now forever beyond me. I'm enjoying having some hope again lately. It's a good thing to have.

=D

Sorry, Leos... love all around for the fire signs, but I'm the rite of spring rather than the burn of summer. ;) Interesting that Leos and Scorpios show up in a thread dedicated to self-love, ever so typical.

I don't love myself too often. Today I do. Here we go, yikes.

- I love that I am playful yet responsible. Want me to babysit your dog or your kid? Happily done, we'll make it into a lesson.
- I love my facility with languages.
- I love my thick, pretty hair and expressive eyes.
- I love that I am 100% there for my family; never will they question my loyalty.
- I love that I am an adept businessperson. If there's a problem, I'll solve it even outside of my domain, or I will find someone who can.
- I love my taste in restaurants.
- I love that I am sweet and snuggly.
- I love that I don't give up on what matters.
- I love that I have absolutely no makeup on, sloppy khakis, and water shoes, yet I still look better than painted video hoes.

:)

I love my ability to learn, how I have a few close friends I can talk to about anything, I'm highly motivated, and that I'm excellent at cooking.

This may sound negative but im happy Im big and look intimadating. It has gotten me where i need to be when there was no other way to get there.
