it's easy to focus on negatives. let's take a moment to think about things we love about ourselves:

i love my eyes
i love my tattoos (even the one i had to get because i lost a bet)
i love my dance

tell me something - or somethings - you love about yourself?

I love that I'm (quite) sociable - without trying to be! ;) * I didn't even realize this until recently, so it's pretty cool.

I love that I'm both book smart and street smart.
 
I love that I genuinely love life. I love that my mind is a comfortable place. I love that I am open to new things.<3

P.S. There was a thread like this a while ago and it petered out because people were somewhat embarrassed I think to talk in the positive about themselves. It's healthy to like things about yourself. That's very different to feeling superior to someone else; so c'mon, don't be shy, what are some things you like about you?
 
I love my tattoos.
I love my stretch marks.
I love the way I can be PERFECT, even if it's for one night or make-believe.
I love how I can fall in love constantly - in people, music, food, actors, movies...
I love how I can earn my living doing the one thing I know which coincidentally is the one thing I love and couldn't live without - writing.
And I love that I have made a difference in some people's lives. The fact that I am the way I am and talk about the things I talk and share things people usually don't share - that all this has changed and helped others.

Also I love my hair, sometimes. When it's not raging against me, that is.
 
I love my good heart, I consider myself a better friend then any I call friends, I love the feeling of showing them that no matter what "everything will be ok" , accepting my problems I brought on myself, that a bad childhood is not my crutch, I created that crutch by my choices, I love being my sons mama & telling him I love him as many times I can, I love he loves me !!! I love learning to love me:-)
 
my tireless, unrelenting, tiresome, irksome, insatiable, clever, mindful, painful, demanding ability to survive as myself through any soul destroying situation.

my infuriating inability to lie to myself even when i want to.

learning what role models to trust despite having no real ones growing up.

I love this thread. About myself, I like? Curiosity, empathy, intelligence, the great dress I bought yesterday. Also that the cat in the deli down the street won't have anything to do with any customer but me.
 
^That last one made me smile. :) I always seem to be that only person that kitties like and come out and greet. I like my cat whisperer abilities >^^< :D
