Im looking for a cure to my rooted stomach. my doctor suspects i have gastritis and the medication he gives me doesnt do anything. (and i cant go to a specialist because the bastards cost too much and i dont have medical insurance)

If i smoke pot i get real nauseous, if i drink (even half a beer) i will feel sick. so im looking for alternative cures, ive found two but cant really find any personal reports with them.

there are:

>Extra virgin pine nut oil
>Natrum Phosphoricum 6x

as far as hype goes, both are just what i need but from the limited amount of personal responses ive seen it seems that the nut oil doesnt do anything.

what about the phosphoricum?
i need your uber searching skills! thanks!

hey mate,

how long have you been suffering from this for?? most forms of gastritis you should let run its course, cause that way the body builds an immunity towards it.
but i understand, fuck feeling sick...

hey cheers for the reply,

Ive started noticing that drinking/smoking makes me feel sick for about 5 - 6 months. - i dont feel nauseous on the average day, i just have an unsettled stomach.

Ive been on the doctors medication for about 3 weeks now although i went to see the doc 2 months ago and took the meds for about a month but never got a repeat prescription after the pills ran out till 3 weeks ago.

I've recommended l-glutamine for gastritis before and about half of people told it worked pretty well. If the problem is h. pylori you will need antibiotics and a ppi. Alcohol and NSAIDS like aspirin or naproxen can be causal factors in gastritis. There was a thread recently with auto-immunological gastritis and I mention the dgl variety of licorice & someone else mentioned fennel.

Keeping a journal of your dietary intake can help identify foods your tummy doesn't tolerate well. Lots of people find that they can not tolerate coffee or other things but eliminating foods based on others experiences might deprive you of things that aren't a problem for you. Most gastritis is insufficient mucosa produced or mucosa broken down to quickly so you want to google for things that help maintain mucosa. The autoimmunology situation is likely different in that its probably stomach tissue thats bothered rather than low mucosa. Hope you are better soon :)

my doctor did a test for H. pylori and came out negative

ill try out the licorice and fennel, maybe l-glutamine

ive been having coffee every day for ages now, it doesnt upset my stomach but it probably isnt good for it so ill stop, i figured i was on the stomach acid inhibitors and that would mean i could drink it.
