Teeth-numbing power as an indication of coke quality?

Hi.
Could I have your comments on whether there is a correlation between the quality of coke and how much of a numbing effect it has on your teeth etc. I'm guessing that the very best coke will have the greatest numbing effect, but is this true in every case? Does anything ever prevent the numbing effects?

Sometimes they cut coke with benzocaine or lidocaine which are just as numbing if not moreso.
So yes it should be numbing but just because it is numbing doesn't mean it is necesserily good.

Real coke will numb your teeth, and so will many cutting agents that are used. If no numbing occurs then it is bad product. I think the numb test is very decieving due to certin cuts that numb you worse then coke. Your best bet is to heat a lil rock up to see the quality of the product...

Heat a bit up? And what would one hope to see? (and hope not to see?)

supposedly if you had an extradorinarilly accurate hotplate then you could turn it on and set a target of the MP (melting point) of cocaine and drop it on and see what temp it actually melts at. This way you could figure out how pure/impure it is.

Yeah, I saw that in the movie "Blow", too...
Has anyone ever actually tried it. I have a soldering iron that I can adjust the temp by degrees. I could rig a little steel plate onto a soldering tip, and do it that way, I suppose.
Everyone send me your stuff and I'll test it for quality. I'll let you know...Really...LOL

snorting one little line has a lot of real world value, but I thought we were talking theory, and the best way to see what purity cocaine you have is to melt it, this method is used by chemists frequently to see what percent of end product is actually pure product.

Hope to see a big trail of greenish smoke. that will tell you if its real or not, i don't know if it tests the potency

Well if we are talking entierly theoretical here you may as well run it through a gas chromatograph or similar silly overpowered high-tech gadgets.
I really think those people with access to lab equitment probably aren't reading this thead for tips. God I hope so.
The heat test could still be usefull if the melting/vaporization point of some of the cuts is way differnt than coke.

Anyone else fimilar with the "yummy nummy" stuff? I think they sell it as "inscense" or something (totally odorless) .. comes in white and yellow, sells for about $20 an ounce and will numb you FAR BEYOND even the purest of pure cocaine... no idea what it is but they sell it at gas stations in really bad areas.. could definitly be sold as cocaine by itself as many people have that belief that "numb = pure" ..

rub it on your GUMS, not your teeth. This will have a stronger effect.
isn't it true that by doing this, you are risking rotting out your teeth?

Ok, stop and think a quick second. If you're rubbing it on your teeth, it's going to spread to your gums, your tongue, down your throat, etc. If you rub it on the gums, same is going to happen. The only way your logic would be possible was if you held your mouth open and let it entirely absorb into your teeth (isn't possible) and I think this would do more damage to your enamel than rubbing on your gums would do to your teeth.

Thank you very much i did THINK. I thought i had a logical Question/statement. I was thinking over time if you rub and rub on your TEETH or GUMS, it could possible eat away at your GUMS just as it eats away at your nasial passages. Then if it did this, then over time it would cause teeth problems.

Method for testing purity is to hold the coke underneath a dark light or red light, the shit in the bag thats glowing is additivs, the dark area is all the good stuff.
PEace..

dark light as in a 'black light'?
seriouslly?
thought only liquid acid, works with the black light trick..
hmmmmm

C21H23NO5 - actually, rubbing coke on your teeth is BAD for them....cocaine is very acidic and will deplete the enamel on your teeth over time....
