Aww you guys met up that's so awesome. And I am so jealous. I would love to be graced by the presence of the two of you fine BLers. :D

Herby - I'm building us an ark starting, now. I will sail us there, no wheelchairs needed for our arrival, just some fresh razors to shave off our pirate hairs from sailing the seas. :P
 
Desmond <3 I look forward to seeing you around. I also use it as my social outlet seeing as I recently just moved to a new location and haven't gotten the chance to meet new friends yet :).

And umm Trip and n3o I am so jelly you guys got to chill!!! I wish I coulda been there it sounds like it was a blast. Pictures are needed asap!!

You guys are killing me!!! We need some pics srsly. You have to be able to find ONE G rated TDS appropriate one :P.

I am so excited I am going to be meeting Herb this summer so :p =D. I would kill to meet so many BLers I love. You and N3o included. And also a few others.

But on another note guys I just ordered a new ecig. I started smoking real cigs again recently like a schmuck and I've felt awful about it. I got a good year cig free and gave in one night and of course one cig turned into buying a pack turned into smoking a pack a day. So I bought a new one today and I am so happy I am on the road again to not dying from lung cancer. YES!

This is the only G rated one i can find, & it's from 2010.
I have little hope of finding many appropriate ones of myself from the weekend :P

I have never been a fan of smoking. For some sweet reason it has always made me terribly sick. :)
But those ecig things do seem to be a lot healthier for people, and way more enjoyable for the non-smoker friends too!!

cant get myself to write an introduction thread damn it. Im moving to a new apartment this saturday(lived in a fucking closet now for over 7 years) its about time. Im pretty depressed about the fucking cleaning-part of it, my dad(Im 27 so I gotta become more independent man, tired of his fucking Type-A ness, stresses the shit out of me) helps me with the cleaning and throwing shit away but he is so god damn meticulous about getting every corner of this shithole perfect for the final inspection so i dont get as much bills to pay afterwards. If I was in control more Id just hire a cleaning-company for the majority of the work, try to clean the rest myself and then get bills to pay for the lazy work I put in. Id rather just use money to make life more comfortable, Im not like my dad.

man I feel Im ruining this thread with my bitchyness haha.


I live in sweden and unemployed(with a bunch of diagnoses. man I need sleep..

It's actually cold here in Florida today it's 72 and breezy too. I had to wear a sweatshirt last night.


Desmond, welcome to TDS! I had to do that whole cleaning a hoard when I moved out of my boyfriends mothers old house. That was a nightmare and a half. I feel your pain x.x You have to be excited about getting your own place though right? That day can't come soon enough I bet.
 
I've lived in PA and NJ all of my life. I know cold. I've just adapted really quick it seems. 3 months in Florida has spoiled me. I don't even sweat anymore in 90s+ %) I'm a lizard Harry!
 
Lol here we are currently going through the miserable season aka spring. That consists of constant fog, rain, drizzle and most days being under 10C or 50F as you Americans call it ;) . Thankfully we have had a few really warm and sunny days to break up the misery :|

In the old days of dramamine, ginger and copper bracelets for seasickness I would have had to have been left behind sobbing on the shore as the rest of you merrily sailed off to Oz; however, there is a new patch (can't remember the name of it) out that opens the world up for those of us afflicted with motion sickness and each one lasts 3 days. I was able to ride buses all over these super winding roads in the mountains in Guatemala last year and could even read a map at the same time! And I road a ferry without hanging over the rail! Unheard of in my past. So, YAY, keep building Laika!:)

Desmond, my son left at 18 to go to University then came home at 20 due to financial hardship (on both our parts). It was good for him to go when he did--it broke the parent/child dynamic--but it has been great to have him back as a full fledged adult. His Dad and he and I all contribute like 3 adults sharing cooking, chores, etc. It's great but I don't think it would have been like this without the break. Good luck with your new place--I think that is going to feel great.:)

PA, yesterday and the day before were exactly like what you are describing and they coincided with yet more awful chemo reactions/side effects for my husband and it really got me down. But then today I went back to work and the sun came out and there is a whole second round of plants blooming in our garden and around town so I just perked right back up. Tomorrow I will try to take some pictures for the picture thread because I defy anyone not to cheer up just a little when they see all this glorious tangle of new life bursting out everywhere.<3
