Hey hi Captian, tripnotyzm, stardust, how are you guys? I'm just getting back from the zoo with the fam, this site kicks ass it's helped so much. I really enjoy checking out all the threads. And finding tid bits of info.
 
This site definitely kicks ass you tell no lies =D! Share some pics of the zoo with us!! Another user just shared some pictures with us in the picture thread of his recent trip to the zoo too.

As for me, I finally pulled our grill out of the garage. (we just moved a few months ago so it's been buried under boxes) I've been grilling for the past 3 days. Todays menu was garlic basted chicken. I lourve grilling!

Aaannd we adopted a foster doglet from the pound today. They only give them 5 days before they euthanize them, he was on day 3. We get to pick him up on Monday. Pictures are coming soon =D.

And hi all! I'm new here, and just dipping my toes in the water, so I thought I would say hello. I have been reading these threads for months and <3 BL! I'm shy to post and I'm sure you will find my future posts to be sporadic and on random topics. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Good to see you!!! Atleast you can admit out loud that you're shy. When I was new I just sat here and stared at the screen without even saying I was too shy to post :P. You're doing pretty good <3

@ stardust, that is so friggen nice of you to adopt that youngen. I really can't wait to see him! Any ideas for the name?

So I'm about to go out and look at rings !! :o
My little sister works at a local jeweller, so she is going to help me look at some :)
She is also going to get me a bit of a discount, hopefully 50%, so I should be able to find a pretty one :)

Trip!! That is so exciting you're finally going for it!! I hope you find something you like. You need to show us it when you get it. Even if you delete it afterwards ;).

As for our doggy, his name right now is Kane. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender so the owners were able to let the shelter staff know what it was. Usually we rename doggies we get since shelters give them a quick name and they usually never know it anyways, but he should know his name. My dilemma is, should I rename him in case his last owners sucked so he doesn't associate us with sucking (fresh start) or do I keep it because he already knows it?

Also just got a surprise call this morning. He's going in for his surgery today (it was scheduled for Monday) so we get to pick him up tomorrow!!!

She used to work with pets heaps so she may have a worthwhile opinion on the topic :)

So I brought one home last night. It looks so nice, my sister is awesome for helping me choose one :)
I'll try take a photo, but no promises just yet!

Maybe you could change his name to something that is similar-sounding to Kane, but different enough...?
