Absolutely gorgeous necklace my girlfriend made for me last night and gave to me this morning....

I love it... There's a much smaller arrowhead attached with copper to the larger one, the same copper that forms the hook in the back - she even made the circumference of the weave completely symmetrical, I mean, down to about 2 millimeters variability at worst!!!

*sigh* wow.

Wow--I LOVE that necklace! Where did she get the arrowheads? You know I collect heart shaped rocks and they have become sort of a metaphor for me that when you look for good things you always find them, look for good people you find you are surrounded by them etc. because now I find them (the heart rocks) everywhere. But in all this rock hunting that I have done all my life I have never found one arrowhead. If I ever do find one I am commisioning a necklace from your girlfriend. What a beautiful gift.

I don't think I've ever seen a heart shaped rock, now I'll be on the look out for them though. I've found a few arrowheads when I was younger, it's definitely a neat feeling to find them.

molly is 10. her and the cat are great friends.

when my last cat passed away, my vet called about a month later to ask if i was ready for another cat, because someone had left some kittens at their doorstep. molly was due for a heartworm test anyway, so we went off to meet the kittens. lucy was the only kitten not afraid of molly, so i tell people that molly picked her out for me.
