TDS Photo Thread Vs. Snow Day!

MoE <3 I don't know if you try to but you always look awesome in your pics. This one is by far the greatest though. Hella angle. Badass MoE cig included lol <3

PiP that picture shows your haircut better. You look great in it. and you aren't kidding about only having a phone for internet. When I was at that minimalistic apartment we talked about in previous posts we also didn't have internet so I had to use my phone as my mobile hotspot. It was the most pathetic load time ever. Good thing I wasn't into Bluelight during that time :P. I can't say the same for Laika thought :P.

I like your haircut I hope you get some fresh bandwidth coming your way soon <3.

.. those little lizards are maybe the most adorable things ive seen.

what kind of light is he under Laika?
like 10k-15k Lumens?

Oddly enough that was just 10am's sunlight.

whuz so odd about that ?!?

:D

you're onto something, this is why bushy budsy plants such as roses and rhododendrons like the early morning or setting evening sun
-
and long steamed parsley leafed plants like lavender or daisies prefer the midday sun.

morning and evening sunlight is at a hz range that promotes more body and flower growth compared to stems and roots...

Ah, well it definitely makes sense. I just know nothing of lumens =S

N3o <3 so cute!!! I love the placement. I hate my ears though I would bug out of anything was touching my cartilage. I also hate if anything touches my belly button. It feels like they're touching the center of my liver or something. It feels so weird.

nice one n3ophy7e.
Angela's is looking good. i didn't even realize she had one done until about 45 minutes of talking to her last night >_<
seems painful. i keep whacking it when im trying to be all lovey with her.

Just my ear lobes :P

I don't know about Australia but in the US we have these really cheesy boardwalks in coastal tourist towns which is basically a really long deck that has beat tourist shops all down it that sell one of three things tee shirts with iron ons that say "city then date" like for example Florida 2012, dodgy food or piercings.

Here is an example:

Well I was on vacation with my family and happened to run into a friend there and we were like 14 and she wanted a belly button piercing (I hate bellybuttons) and you need a parents consent so I told her once my father got good and drunk I would tell him we wanted to get our belly buttons pierced and he would sign for her and then I would bail because I didn't want it done. We'll somehow I was peer pressured by a bunch of these people trying to steal my $60 into getting it pierced.

It was the most vile thing I have ever done. I took it out after like 2 weeks but I have this wretched scar from it.

I also went through this awesome "goth" stage where I got my tongue pierced and dyed my hair pink. (also pierced after I got my father drunk on another vacation. There is a trend here :P.) That one the guy pierced off center and it always bugged me because I could feel it sitting off center in my mouth and I have like a weird uneven-ness issues so it had to go too. I also have a nice scar from that too :-D.

1 Lumen is the equal to 1 candles light per square foot of space, so a lamp used to replicate from the suns light from 9-10am until 4-5 pm would be ~10k-15k lumens(ideally) or candles per foot. Every few thousand lumens uses up a % of moisture too.

Kelvins are the temperature and color of light, as the sun rises and sets it generates these frequencies of light through out the day. Taking pictures knowing what shades are going to be most prominent in the photographs you can plan to get the best shots accordingly...or for growing plants, they require different "forms" of light, because each form promotes different hormones for growth. Flowers with deeper more rich coloring will not receive such high light clear frequencies, but the lower more colorful ones.

I'm not sure if I posted in the picture thread or social a while back about my neighbors bringing us too much bread. They just stopped over with this weeks supply replenishment. Here's what we're working with:

It's just too much bread. And my boyfriends mother like an idiot goes to them "Thanks! Yeah we love lots of bread!" I legitimately face palmed from the other room. Like noooooo don't tell them we like a lot.

I told him he's going to have to figure out how to tell them we don't need bread.

Also do you like both valentines and easters leftovers in the corner lol.

ok, I just have to say that is a picture of one part of my personal heaven--I love bread!! I love it plain. I love it toasted. And I love anything made with bread. I look at that picture and start drooling. You need to find a shelter to give some of it to maybe?

During the first couple of sentences I was all like, shit, too stupid to understand.
But then you explained it so well, and now, well now I understand. Thank you. :)

Yeah I'm thinking tomorrow we're gonna donate some--we definitely only need like one loaf at most per week.

Another idea is (mild sinister humor included): since moving to this warm Florida climate I'm noticing a lot of street beggars in major intersections as we get closer to the tourist traps. Like they hangout at the lights and walk up and down the cars for money. I'm thinking we could hand out baguettes out the window at the stop lights. I feel like people don't see long baguettes being handed out windows that often so all the other people waiting at the light will be like lolwut? and the beggar guy will get bread (if he's really homeless) or he'll be really pissed it wasn't money.

My favourite football club Borussia Dortmund won the German football championship this weekend! Unfortunately we didn't get tickets for the game but instead watched it in the city- It was a mad celebration afterwards as ten thousands of supporters partied in the streets the whole night, and we did, too, but without a drop of alc or any other drugs. We had at least the same amount of fun as those who drank but assumedly felt a lot better this morning. =D%)

that's a wonderful idea, stardust. :) i'm usually more likely to give homeless people food rather than money for the most part. they usually are super grateful for it as well and it makes me happy to be able to help.

Spork, did you do that dissection?

Van Weyden--is that a bonfire in the street? What was the occasion? Those are really cool pictures!

Stardust--my town is known for our cheesy beach side Boardwalk. It was an amusement park built back at the turn of the century and has one of the old wooden roller coasters in the U.S. It is right on the ocean. It is coolest to walk through it in the winter when it is closed because in the summer it turns our town into a teeming mass of tourists so most of the locals avoid it at all costs.
