Dancing all the way into the mouth of the whale....no first day jitters for you, eh?<3 (Both of my kids had to be pried off of my leg and then I sat in the parking lot and cried!)
In 1 hour I will be with 20 kindergarteners doing collages.....art with kindergarteners is the best. They consider it a visual exercise and a meal at the same time (please don't eat the paste, kids!)=D

I never had that problem until 4th grade 8) I found out how good it tasted, but I quickly stopped.

Haha hewhohowls that's a great picture, nice little stomping dance you're doing there. I used to do that all the time, except it usually happened in the middle of my soccer games. You can probably understand why the team didn't really like me, and why I quit once I turned 8 :)

Those blue morning glories are my favorite flower, Ix. I like the way they come out blue and get more purple as they get older so you get both colors on the same vine.

The picture came out great!

I agree herbavore, the photo is great and the morning glory is literally GLOWING!! Love it :)

and this is what my datura looked like this summer--WTF?

Not bad, not bad. Train that sucker into a semi- or full cascade, and in 15 years or so it'll look pretty sweet! I'm not usually a fan of juniper bonsai (although they are hardy as hell, and about the only tree that can be properly bonsai'd in my clime), but that one looks pretty good. I'd probably give it a bit of a trim to make it a bit more sparse and windblown-looking, but I'm anal like that. I used to prune my little serissa foetida bonsai every couple of days. Surprisingly, the thing lasted for a good two years before finally giving up the ghost.

yeah, I'm still giving serious thought before making a snipping commitment.
I was thinking of a short, squat, mushroom cloud sillhouette.
Once I give it a pleasing shape, I'll name it.
this is only my 2nd onetho, I'm far from pro.
but I appreciate the kind words.

Judging by the two branches off to the left, I'd say that it wants to be windswept. Junipers can be trained really easy into broom shapes though, so that would work well too.

I love semi- and full-cascade styles though. Windswept is awesome too, especially with some weathered branches thrown in. Someday I'll train my own... I should actually get cracking on that soon if I ever want to see the results of my work.

Yeah I wish we had pretty glass stones in my history classes!! :D

Wolfie, nice bonsai! And nice garden in general :)

I love that photo! :)
