heh, i figured it out when street view beta first started, and they didn't mask the car itself straight down, or it's shadow.

but it was cool to see the crazy geek shit they use to do it.

but I did get the urgent desire to climb up there an whack the fuck out of camera-thing with a yellow whiffle-ball bat till it went googly. 8)

If I wasn't so tired I would have quoted stuff...heh...My aesthetic sensibilities have been supplied for sure! ;)

Damn cute people! Making me jealous and happy at the same time...Grrr! ;)
 
@Ix: I used to cultivate my talent for invisibility. It's impressive how people (IRL) are really good at not seeing people who they don't want to see. All you need to do is build that cloud overhead up enough, and people will look right through you. Almost disconcerting, but at the same time it was what I wanted at that point. To just disappear.

Or, if you were meaning it literally: yeah, I'm not a fan of posting pictures of myself either. :)
