I can't believe that it 75 degrees here and below freezing there---but totally beautiful either place and I bet any of you in the midwest still have gorgeous fall color? What about where you are in England right now,Brits and I suppose Australia is as varied as here depending where you are. Let's see pics from your part of the world, everybody!
 
Well, thankee, sir:)---but what do you think about that wing trailing the veil of foam in the last picture? I was just taking pictures of the foam--didn't even realize the bird was at all in my picture.

Although I can't complain right now, it's cool and rainy in Sydney today. I'm just dreading the godawful summer heat that is looming upon us :(

Yep absolutely hun! Australia is huge so it can be really variable. In the northern part it's tropical climate so they don't have "summer" and "winter", they have "wet" and "dry" seasons and it's just hot all the time. In the middle of the country it's all desert, so it's always hot during the day all year round but in winter it gets cold at night. But down the southern part of the country it's temperate climate so we have the usual 4 seasons. In winter it even snows in the south-eastern part of the country. But I think it's fair to say that in the middle of summer, it is BLOODY HOT everywhere in Australia!! North, south, east, west, it's just plain c%#ting hot :(

These are from a month or so ago - this is the countryside around where my parents live, on the Welsh border, it's another very peaceful and beautiful part of the world <3

badfish, your peanut butter looks really shiny!! Peanut butter in Australia isn't shiny, it's literally like a smooth paste of crushed peanuts.....if that makes sense?
 
Maybe it's the lighting, but it is also a little melted from the heat, and it's the smooth kind. I know what you're talking about though, I like that kind of peanut butter, we don't really ever get it though. Tastes more "real"

^ive been putting this together in different variations
the past couple of months, has always been the Copper Beads,
and Hemp that is dyed almost daily with Turmeric -hehe-
now it has 4 Gold-'HoOps'.
i keep it underneath my shirt, BTW...
