TDS Photo Thread...... Round III

Even when I skied I couldn't get the hang of moguls. I know that there's a knack to them, but I'd rather go fast down a groomed run or fly over powder than bounce around on moguls.

But I'll admit, when the person really knows what they're doing, riding moguls looks pretty cool. Doubly so if a snowboarder can pull it off, since they're much harder to do well on a snowboard.

Ski blades are an abomination, but they looked kind of fun. Don't see anyone riding them anymore though. But yeah, the image is of the top on the left, and the base graphic on the right. Pretty minimal, and dark. Just how I like my graphics. And EDM for that matter too :)

Apparently there are two ways to do moguls. The way that most people do them is to fight against them, going as much across the hill as down. It takes a ton of energy, doesn't look good, and isn't generally much fun. Then there's this mystical other way, where you just flow with the moguls, bouncing merrily along them, going as close as possible to straight down the hill. Skiers have an easier time of it, but once (and only once) I saw a snowboarder pulling off the zen mogul method, and it looked crazy.

It involved not only quickly shifting from heel to toeside, but also shifting his weight from toe to tip and back. The timing was perfect, and he was one with the moguls. It was intense.

Me, I like the soft, powdery, early-season moguls. Because if I get caught on them and they piss me off I can just edge right through them. Heh.
 
screw moguls. those things are a death trap. i hit them on my ski's once and got cleaned up good.

i shall stick to snowboarding on fluffy cloud like snow :)
its a shame it only snows once - and a shame i don't go there too often :( try once every 2 or 3 years blehhhhh. dont get me wrong i still shred that shit muaha what can i say.

Yes, it is probably about 5 years old. I had a buzz cut for ten years before growing it out again.
 
You are both very kind. Thank you. I'll eventually be forced into the old look due to hair loss so I might as well keep it long for now :)
 
Cool costumes, that's a lot of candy haha.

I'd post some of my rave photo's but I don't have a lot of them, and the ones I do have I'm absolutely destroyed in, nobody should have to see themselves in that state lol.
