Yeah, Boston is an uber cool place. Many Bostonians would like you to believe that its the center or hub of the universe. I like it because the general populace seems to be a bit more educated and the museums and art galleries are pretty cool. Even places like Harvard have some pretty neat museums that have handcrafted glass plants, and another highly underrated museum is the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum near the Museum of Fine Arts. The Boston Symphony Orchestra is top notch as is Symphony Hall. There's nothing like hearing the Boston Pops on the Fourth of July accompanying the fireworks. As you mentioned, the resteraunt scene in Boston is highly underrated. The scene has seen a huge boost over the past decade with some pretty cool resteraunts popping up, especially in the South End (where there's some pretty cool art galleries and crafts markets in what's called the SoWa section of Boston or South Washington street). Boston is definitely a cool place to visit, and if you ever consider a vacation here feel free to PM me and I'll answer any questions you may have and give any advice I can offer.

Sure is man. There's been some pretty cool music to come out of here. The Dropkick Murphy's are pretty cool. That somewhat new band Passion Pit were students of Berklee and Emerson here in town. Also bands like the Pixies were formed here, whom were believed to be the predecessors to the alternative boom in the early nineties.
