And waiiiiiit a second!!!!! Ocean sent Lucky Charms across the FUCKING OCEAN and can't even send poor starving me some of her fantastic creations when I'm essentially only about a 10 inches away from her location (depending on how big the map is that I'm looking at)

I've been playing around with gel since I got my hair cut short. I like it it, but its a lot of work to have to worry about everyday.

OD- I will see what I can do when PiP wakes up :) (He sleeps late and is a grouch for about an hour, then he becomes human and approachable;) hahaha I will wait until then to ask for the photo)
 
OD - they are doing quit well, the yellow one has a ways to go, and oh man it could be very tall, there are 16 flowers, 8 on either side, it(nobile dendrobium) can have up tp ... 100 flowers, so that will be amazing, even if it gets 50-60, wow.

the flowers eventually will lift and face up, then begin building fine detail with in the flower. that can take 2-3 months.... the other, some kind of phalaenopsis, has 7 flowers, 4 buds(one of which is opening) and can grow up to 20 flowers. there is either a new "bud spike" or bud gowing on it, probably a buf but, either way, it exciting to slwowely watch happen!
 
watching something grow that you have personally nurtured must be a fantastic feeling.

Have you thought of entering them into any competitions?

these are new to me, and im just getting warmed up and familiarized, i made a gentle but potent foliar spray mixing a few fertilizers i have, and they realy like that stuff.

it sounds like you should look further, there are some insanely amazing ones out there, ranging from $7-3,000+. some people spend/risk their lives going out into jungles looking for a good species to clone/split/seed out, but some and most take 3-5 years to grow, so you only have so many chances in a life time to try and create a cross-breed.

you can buy seeds, and they grow on a sugar agar in a peatree dish, it funky as hell looking, but that little blob of moldy looking stuff id of throwen away before, might turn into a 9' amazing flower...
