Thanks guys. I felt really great going out...
(don't tell, but the bf pretty much did all the work to my costume...even helped me put my eyes lashes on...
But he didn't want anyone to know that he spent 2 hours sewing me into and putting flowers on my pixie costume)

Punk OD is awesome:)

It seems next yr I may be attending my first punk show...hahaha I am totally not into Punk music but our friend is with the lead singer of a punk band from Scotland....they are releasing a new album and will be coming to tour the US (at least the West coast)- so.....looks like I will have to go:) OD, I will take photos for you:)

Easy now! That was me minus the pins in the nose (I had 7 in my ear!) ;-)

You'll have a blast at the show, ocean. The pit is very therapeutic but females tend to get groped when they stage dive. We can't have people disrespecting you like that
 
No shit!!! One of my favorite bands! I thought wattie was cockney english though?

I gotta check and see if they're stopping in philly! I'm dyin for an old school band to come around
 
Shit, now I'm obsessed with finding out when they might come to Philly! No tour dates listed for 2010 yet but I can be patient.

Wattie was my fuckin' HERO back in the day. Dude was a big influence on me and his 'life philosophy' got me through back in the day.

that's so weird, i was a pub trivia night a few weeks ago and there was a question about the exploited. i didn't realize that they were still making music.

i always show up to punk shows dressed way too preppy. like khaki pants and cashmere sweaters. but i still like to get into the pit.

OD, my friend is on my facebook- I comment on her photos sometimes- so people on my friends list can see her photos if I commented......I will go make a comment and I will ask her (you might have to remind me) when the album comes out if they plan to stop in Philly:)
Wattie may be English but he lives in Scotland now.......
