Unfortunately the time has come for us to bid adieu to our wonderful TDS moderator, Legerity <3
Legerity, thank you for all your hard work and fantastic contributions to TDS. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you and I hope you'll still stick around Bluelight, otherwise we will miss you too much and I will have to hunt you down and smuggle you back here ;) <3


We now require a new and enthusiastic moderator to join the TDS team.

Your duties and privileges as a moderator will be:

  • assisting and supporting people with their troubles, being that friendly shoulder to cry on, and really making a difference to someone's life by being there when they need a friend
  • to be an active contributor to the forumand to provide level-headed advice in a place of non-judgment
  • check all forum threads for violations of BLUA and forum guidelines, and enforce our rules
  • respond to reports on threads in TDS
  • edit, merge, move threads to appropriate forums, modify posts as required
  • other general forum actions

Please PM your application to 5 of the following people: n3ophy7e, ocean, OverDone, Dave, Legerity, effie, Vader

In your application it would be handy to note the following:

  • your location
  • the amount of time you spend on Bluelight each day
  • any particular interests you have being a moderator in TDS and what you feel you could bring to the forum as a moderator
  • any experiences or skills you have that would be of benefit to the forum
  • ideas for improvements and/or activities or threads to ad to our forum
  • why you are interested in The Dark Side

I would like to encourage anyone who thinks they would enjoy modding this forum to apply :)

It's a great job - yes there are responsibilities, and yes there is a commitment, but overall it is incredibly rewarding to be helping out your fellow BLers, and BL as a whole, in this way - especially if BL has also helped you! TDS is one of the key forums on BL and it is a true priviledge to mod it. I've learnt a huge amount from all of you already and I've not been here that long!

The TDS team is wonderful too - fantastic people to work with. Plus you get to join the staff community and be more involved in the website you love :)

I look forward to reading some great apps! :D <3

i think i'd make a good candidate, except i'm beginning a new job as an over the road wide load escort. i'm sure several of you remember me as nomofosho. i shared some nasty drug-related stuff here in 09 & got amazing support here. i had about 11000 hits on the thread "losing my hand to demerol" & removed it because it became about the numbers for me & i couldn't stop checking it. i do hang out here quite a bit.
