TASTING an intravenous shot immediately after the injection

This makes the most sense to me. The drug going thru the veins in your mouth so close to your taste buds.
 
I only got this when I cooked my shot. I would the same taste in the back of my throat, identical to the smell from cooking the shot. It actually made me gag before the rush hit as I associated the taste with a strong shot/puking.
 
I get a differnt taste with differnt opiates...
o.c. ( definantly a distinctive taste)
diladid (dont remember)
fent. (a little but not that noticable)
coke (definantly.. makes my mouth water)
heroin ( definantly)
Morphine ( only taste i can remember is the metallic when doing a big shot )
Meth.. ( rates up there with coke in intensity a very alcohold kinda chemically taste )
Now this does not include hospital shots.. I used to love making my shots with saline because of the taste...
 
Rrrreallly.....Were you in the UK,where they have 100% pure heroin ampules for injecting? If not, I would take that statement back........................

No, I lived at the time, and still do, in the US. Ummm, dunno if this is kosher to say on here but I used to work in a lab running self-admin behavioral choice experiments (with monkeys) using heroin/food as reinforcers. My boss would gimme about 300mg heroin hcl per month to make up the syringes for each monkeys' respective doses... I was also in charge of another group that self-administered cocaine.

I realize this is BL and there's a lot of BS flyin' around* but I ain't a liar and certainly no fool... you can't assume you HAVE to live in the UK to have access to pure heroin hcl. I guess ya learn somethin' new everyday though, don'tcha lace-lace?

*anybody get the monkey/drugs/shit-flingin' reference? ;)

Yeah me too. To be fair, he didn't actually ask what causes it, he just asked if anyone else had experienced it but I would have expected someone to post up the reason sooner.
