I currently take .25mg (break a .5 in half) of clonazepam twice a day 6 hours apart (for a little over a month). I've taken up to 1.5mg/day but wanted to come down to as needed (turns out most of my anxiety was caused by low blood sugar).
I do feel anxiety when I go more than 24 hours without taking it. So should I cut in half the first dose or the second to start tapering? Am I at risk for seizures after only a short time? And finally, should I be ok to go back to taking 0.5mg/day 3-4 days/week as needed once I taper off? I'm more worried about a physical dependency as I'm much more into stimulants for abuse, though I do like how benzos feel.
