Hi there,
I'm currently taking Suboxone without a prescription but finally got insurance and a family member to assist me financially. My worry is the doctor normally drug tests and waits till I'm sick before I take it. I really don't want to relapse if possible and then get withdrawals. My doctor and Dad want me to be honest with the doctor, but I'm worried he has a policy where honesty isn't an option to get me on a med, that in my opinion saves my life. My friend says I should do a little heroin 6 hours before I go in, but it's hard to fake withdrawals. Should I call the receptionist and ask what she thinks anonymously? Any suggestions? I'm not going to fake withdrawals, and really want to just tell him I'm taking suboxone. If I have to I'll go back to heroin for a few days, if that's what it takes.
I have only been able to take 2 mg at a time and have a VERY high tollerace with opiates. (heroin and methadone). I switched from a high dose of methadone to subs again, which was one of the hardest things ever. I need to get on a higher dose, and just started taking paxil 4 days ago and feel manic and nauseas. Cannabis has helped alleviate the symptons. My Sub source is running dry and I need to get to a doctor as soon as possible. Also, I've heard sometimes the doctors require 12 step meetings (which I don't feel help me at all), and drug test for pot. I think the doctor I'm going to see firstprescribes medical cannabis.
Thanks so much,
