Okay so I am an ex-Heroin addict who used H for almost 4 yrs on and off, but now I have been going to a hospital Clinic in NYC where i was prescribed 16Mg of Suboxone for the past 5 years. I had to go there once a week to pick them up. 2 months ago I had only been taking the full 16mg they day i was at the clinic and then taking 8mg or less the other 6 days. I stopped going to the clinic a month or more ago since I moved to NJ and cant afford the commute anymore. I dropped myself down from 8mg to 1mg Sub that I last took 2 or 3 days ago. I was feeling something similar to precipitated WD on the last day even tho I took no opiates and only flexeril for slight rls. I waited about 36 hours after last Sub dose and couldnt take it anymore so I did what I havent done in over 3 years. I shot up a 2 mg dilaudid for the first time.. They are actually the generic oxymorphone orange pills with a P2 on them. I heard they are made by Purdue but not sure. I dont have a micron filter but am using clean needles that a fam member has. I put hand sanitizer on hands,crush pill in aluminum foil, put spoon or cap, mix with bottled water 50cc (that is the max fluid needle can hold), then draw up with peice of cig filter balled up which leaves a decent amount of orange residue around cotton and some unbroken pill peices but i rinse out residue w/ bottled water and use new filter peice to refilter fluid one more time. I likely waste some med this way but safety is more imp to me.Then alcohol on skin, tie and inject. I am kinda worried by posts saying the filler is dangerous and last night when i did this a few hours later I was feeling bone and joint pain and a throbbing from back of head. I have used a million times be4 and never got an infection of any kind even when I likely should of. Im not trying to get high off these even tho when i felt the rush it did unleash a urge in me that I wanted more of but not doing it. Im doing this so i can move around some while wds go on. I have a 6yr old to take care of and it is just too much sometimes. Luckily i also have family that is helping most the time. I have about 20 2mg dilaudid left so will this just prolong Sub w/d or would i just go thru the pill Wd?? I personally would rather have a hard 3 day w/d then the month of Sub mild Wd. I heard some rehabs are giving short acting opiates to get ppl off Subs now..is there any truth to this and how well does it work...Does anyone know what dose would work for someone like me that last took 8mg 1 month ago and basically no more than 4 this past month? I have flexeril, tizandine, benadryl, gabapentin, but none of these seem to relieve the Wd other than the dilaudid. Wud love librium, the only time I went thru WD and didnt feel any pain was on those 4 22 days in jail. But anyway, IF I BANG SAY 20 TIMES THESE 2MG DILAUDID WILL IT DAMAGE MY BODY TO THE POINT THAT I WILL HAVE TO GO THE ER? WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF GETTING AN INFECTION IF JUST DOING THIS SHORT TERM LIKE ME?
