Taking a Break

I've been an everyday smoker now for about 4 months. I've noticed that I don't get nearly as high as I used to. I want to take a break to get my tolerance back and to save a little cash. But I can't get myself to do it. Anytime I try to stop either I get smoked out for free by a friend or I bug out to smoke. Any tips on how to get myself to take a break? I live in New York and it's getting to be extremely cold out so it's not like I can do things outside to kill time or get my mind off bud. Basically all I have is work and school and even those two things can't occupy my time completely.
 
checkout the mega quitting thread but u will need to add some exercise into your routine as a starter. take yourself away from things that remind you of it, and give yourself mini goals to work to - like 2 days off, then the week off and only toke on weekends..
 
I was a daily smoke for over 2 years and Ive been off it over 3 months now and let me tell you the first 3 days are the hardest and once you get past your first week it should be smooth sailing from there. You can still chill with your friends who smoke just get use to saying "no, im good" or whatever to them and dont let them peer pressure you. If theyre your friends then they will respect your decision. My friends were making jokes and shit when I stopped because thats what friends do but eventually they stopped asking me to smoke but i still get a little contact high when theyre smoking and im talking to them also near them. But yeah add some exercise like Faced said and get some new hobbies into your life because youre gonna need to fill in the time voids when you were smoking with something else. After taking a long break I feel great and more active and my memory is way better now too. Im not quitting forever.. just until the end of the year because I have a bet someone but even until then im just going to smoke like twice a month or every other weekend to enjoy it more.
