I got played
its why I decided not to play the game
things hold me back
time and time again
now I recognise its always the same
im permenantly emotionally drained
I still cant see why now
and im out of your mind
so I will never know how
for some reason
I still kind of care
its not as though
there is nothing there
but why?
I believe you get what you give
so one day I will be free
from this hurt and ache
people will experience emotions
as give and take
one day you will see more
Hurt goes round and round
people seem to pass it to each other
I dont like the order it goes in
because I didnt hurt you

Karma doesn't follow a given set of rules dear. And it does seem to jump up and grab you at the most unexpected moments... luckily writing is one of the best forms of catharsis that I can imagine.
