Tagamet/cimetidine question?

I often read that tagamet/cimetidine can potentiate benzos, opiates, barbituates and alot of other drugs. Does anyone have experience using Tagamet to potentiate any of these or other drugs? I want to try some cimetidine and xanax combos if its worthwhile?

Tagamet effects the clearance(elimination by the Liver)of certain medications, sometimes prolonging their effect.Valium,Librium,and many of the longer acting benzos are effected.Ativan and Xanax on the other hand are not effected by Tagamet.Tagamet also serves to potentiate the effects of opiates, in much the same way I understand.

You know me, ALWYAS trying to get the most of out my opioids... I took a rather heavy dose of Tagament and never got shit! So for ome thing might rock your socks off, but for me it's a wash!
