Typically the bodybuilder/power lifter has much more drive and focus, to look sexy, than the average joe.
Three hours is way too long to be exercising. The thing with lifting/conditioning/doing things for appearance over performance is that more is not better. It's always quality over quantity otherwise everyone would look like their idols.
