Hey, So I use syringes. And unfortunately I cannot use a new syringe EVERY time. I know, that is the best thing to do. But they don't make them so easy to get. So I have to reuse them. I am very clean, and bleach them out every time, and don't share with anyone. But my problem is, after a little while, they rubber part at the end of the plunger gets stuck. It is like it gets dried out and doesnt want to move, so the plunger pulls off of the rubber part. Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening. When it got stuck, I put mineral oil in it to loosen it up, and then it slid freely for a while. But is this safe? Of the oil happens to get injected along with the drug into my vein, will that be ok? Any tips? Thanks!

Re-using syringes is not safe at all. The problem you are having is that the bleach is destroying the rubber through a process called oxidisation. Adding mineral oil may help temporarily but in the end you are still injecting rubber particulate and other nasty stuff. Don't re use syringes or needles designed for single use!

Check the Syringe laws for your state... you may be able to walk into a pharmacy and get more, or there could be a needle exchange near you.
