A world-first clinical trial in Sydney aims to find out if giving psychedelics to people who use methamphetamines can help conquer their addiction. Researchers at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst will use psilocybin – the active ingredient in magic mushrooms – to turbocharge therapy for patients dependent on “meth” or “ice”.

I have a friend whos attended some ayahuasca ceremonies with the focus of getting off of
meth whos had a fair amount of success with it. Not perfection but the ceremonies and repeated microdosing mushrooms keeps him in check and of the mindset. This is all anecdote but still good info I think.
