For fourteen years the Transmission parties have been Australia's leading hard dance events. With the final edition wrapping up in May last year, Transmission said farewell to all lovers of dance music.

Almost a year since that final party, the Transmission team decided to return in the ultimate form of existence in dance: the Magic City.

Magic City is a treasure full of musical gems from faraway places that house a unique celebration of all types of dance music with a harder edge.

Only the world's biggest acts in hard dance music and the best of the local scene have been able to gain entry into the Magic City. They will be the heroes of the night and by unleashing their combined forces, they will propel you into a new dimension of dance music the world has never seen before.

Magic City: unleash the dragon, will be held at one of Australia's most unique indoor venues for a dance party: the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre.

Definately will be trying to get there if not working that weekend. Be good to see the Pitcher and Noisecontrollers vs Donkey Rollers is a first.

Dont forget that a date has been set for Defqon 2010 sat Sep 18 and once again at the Sydney Regatta Centre. So start planning and saving!

It'll be my first foray into the harder style of events
compared to my usual mainstream music festivals..

so far the harderstyled events have not disapointed so u should be in for a treat beh !

Had a fkn ball at this!
Ended up road trippin it up to syd with a few mates for this, and glad i did.
ahh lazers, n strobes n all those pretty things haha.
Donkey Rollers vs Noisecontrollers set was mental, and didnt even mind toneshifters and The Pitchers Sets, both played some of may favs (which always helps when ya tryin to get ya stomp on !)

Ps. Still dont get the chicken dance that all u sydyney siders seem to do, anyone care to explain ? haha
