Swollen wrist after shooting up

Hi! I'm new to this site, and I have a question. I recently shot up what I thought was a vein near my wrist, and I felt fine initially. The next morning my wrist was swollen and now it hurts like a motherfucker. Its hard to pick anything up with my hand. Did I hit an artery? I remember when I drew back the plunger the blood was bright red, but the shot itself didn't burn and it didn't hurt after it was administered. Should I go to an urgent care center or a hospital?

i'm not an authority on IV use but it doesn't sound like a miss, and arterial blood is very vivid... you might wanna call the doctors.
as i said i don't know an awful lot about pining my gear, and when i do it tends to be IM - maybe put some ice on it for a while and see if that helps? if not, off to the hospital wioth you.
