Curious how other add meds compare to Vyvanse. I'm currently perscribed 50mg daily. It helps with most of my symptoms although it is expensive. Are there better meds that provide energy that I often read about. I can't tell if it has more to do with the people that claim to get additional energy really don't need them or if it's due to the chemical makeup of the different drugs. Anyhow I'll be asking my Dr about it, would like to hear from people that have taken the different meds.

I've taken everything for ADHD from Ritalin to Desoxyn. There are many meds out there that you can try, I can't tell you if there any out there that will give you more "energy" than Vyvanse because I don't know how you will respond, everyone is different. Generally though, the instant release medications are more effective for me. You can ask about Adderall or Dexedrine.

generic adderall or dexedrine. if it is too expensive, just tell your doc you dont want a script for something there is no generic of.
